Lights and bliss were spread across the state of Gujarat as the state was gearing up for the wedding of its princess.

Thakur family was happy yet emotional beyond what words could describe. Why not, it was their princess's wedding.

It felt like just yesterday when their princess came into their world lighting the family with her smiles and tomorrow she would be going to a family she would call hers.

The Rathore Family's wait for their elder daughter-in-law and Rajasthan's wait for their Future Queen would come to an end in five days.

Lights glimmered across the house as anticipation and excitement filled the air for the Pre-Wedding Festivities of Meera and Yash.

Thakur family sat in the garden sprawling in the front yard of their palace awaiting to welcome the Rathore Family. Meera, Advika and Shaurya were reviewing the preparations for tomorrow's Ganesh Sthapana.

Everyone's gaze shifted to the gates of the palace as three cars of security convoys entered their driveway. Two cars followed up and the gates closed. The elder Rathores came from the first car and the three brothers from the other one.

Elders exchanged pleasantries with each other while the youngsters greeted each other with warm embraces. Meera and Yash shook hands which turned into a light-hearted hug from her side.

The elders shared talks about the wedding while three Thakur siblings took care of their luggage being moved to their rooms.

The entire city of Ahmedabad was lit up in golden lights. If I had been unknown of the fact that it was my wedding I would've surely mistaken it to be Diwali.

Our cars pulled into the driveway and we got out. The city is nothing in comparison to the lights gleaming around the Thakur Baadi. Everyone greeted each other with warm hugs. Smiles spread across everyone's lips. I shook hands with Meera but, she embraced me going further.

Her tropical scent filled my nostrils and my body relaxed with her scent and touch. I still can't figure out how this woman manages to look gorgeous even in a kurta meant for nightwear.

The white kurta hugged her chest like a second skin while flaring around from her hips. Her locks danced around in the air as her giggling at some joke filled the air. The red shawl that was draped over her shoulders hung loose from her arms.

Meera, bachcha please show everyone their rooms and Adu and Shaurya take care of the luggage, her mother asked and all the elders moved to the lawn.

We were walking through the lobby when it ended and we moved to the left wing of the palace. Our steps came to a standstill in front of the room. Here, make yourself at home Mr. Rathore, do reach out to me if you need anything, just the room next to yours, she spoke with a warm smile.

I stepped into a meticulously lit room with a king-sized bed in the middle, a couch along with a coffee table in the right corner and a work desk with a bookshelf in the left. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The city view captures the essence of the bustling nightlife of Ahmedabad.

The interior is a rich blend of vintage style and modern comfort. The dark tones mingling perfectly with the muted wooden furniture were exuberant. The room was lit in warm and golden lights and smelled fresh as a rose.

My luggage had already been set up in the walk-in closet, the clothes arranged neatly and my accessories placed primly on the counter. I took a nice warm shower and changed into my nightwear.
