The next morning, Sunghoon explores the cabin. He goes around the few rooms, finding one with all sorts of equipment from who knows where sitting nice and cleanly. "Where'd she even find all this." He mumbled as his fingers ran through the swords lying on the stand.
He felt a sense of anticipation building within him. The room filled with weapons spoke of preparation and readiness, traits he admired and respected. With a sense of purpose, he picked up a sword, its hilt cool against his palm, and stepped out into the courtyard.
Under the vast expanse of the open sky, Sunghoon stood alone, the weight of the sword in his hand a comforting presence. Closing his eyes for a moment, he focused his mind, visualizing an opponent before him, ready to test his skill.
With a deep breath, Sunghoon began to move, his muscles tensing and releasing with each deliberate motion. The sword sliced through the air with a satisfying swish, as he parried and struck with precision.
In his mind's eye, Sunghoon could almost see the phantom opponent, their movements mirroring his own. He could feel the intensity of the imaginary battle, the adrenaline coursing through his veins as he fought with all his might.
As he wielded the sword in the courtyard, his movements were fluid yet tinged with a growing sense of frustration. With each swing and parry, the weight of the blade felt heavier, dragging at his weary muscles. Despite his best efforts to focus, a gnawing hunger gnawed at his insides, distracting him from his training.
His mind drifted, his thoughts consumed by the insatiable thirst for blood that pulsed through his veins. It was a constant presence, like a shadow looming over him, clouding his thoughts and sapping his strength. Sunghoon gritted his teeth, willing himself to push through the discomfort, but the growing hunger threatened to overwhelm him.
"Focus," he reminded himself, his voice strained with the effort of suppressing his mounting hunger. "You can't let this control you."
But Sunghoon found it increasingly difficult to maintain his composure. His exhaustion weighed heavily upon him, dragging at his limbs and clouding his judgment. With each passing moment, the hunger gnawed at him, threatening to consume him from within.
And yet, despite the overwhelming odds stacked against him, Sunghoon refused to yield. With sheer determination, he pressed on, his movements fueled by a stubborn resolve to overcome the challenges that lay before him.
The sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the courtyard, Sunghoon lowered the sword, his chest heaving with exertion. Though the battle had taken its toll, he stood tall, a glimmer of defiance in his eyes.
Although he was doing all this as an excuse just to divert his mind from his rising thirst, he wanted to do whatever it takes to stop himself from losing control.
