The city streets pulsed with energy as Minji and Sunoo made their way through the throngs of people. Sunoo's hand found Minji's, intertwining their fingers as they navigated the bustling sidewalks together. With a gentle squeeze, he offered her a reassuring smile, silently communicating his support.
As they walked, the familiar sights and sounds of the city enveloped them. The chatter of passersby mingled with the distant hum of traffic, creating a comforting backdrop to their journey. For Minji, these urban streets were a canvas upon which the tapestry of her daily life unfolded.
Their path eventually led them to the gates of Minji's college campus, where students hurried to and fro, lost in the rhythm of academic life. They both had already graduated high school and Sunoo decided to drop out of college. He watched as Minji's expression shifted, a mixture of determination and anticipation flickering across her features.
"You've got this," Sunoo said, offering her a reassuring smile. "Just remember, I'll be waiting right here for you when classes are over."
Minji returned his smile, a warmth spreading through her chest at his words. With a quick kiss on his cheek, she disappeared into the bustling campus, leaving Sunoo to wait patiently outside.
As the day unfolded, Minji navigated the halls of her college with purpose, her focus unwavering despite the distractions around her. In between classes, she stole moments to exchange messages with Sunoo, their conversations a welcome respite from the rigors of academic life.
Later, as the sun began its descent toward the horizon, Minji emerged from the campus gates, her steps light with anticipation. Sunoo was waiting for her, a smile lighting up his face as he greeted her with open arms.
"Ready for our date?" he asked, his voice laced with excitement.
As they strolled through the city streets, Minji couldn't help but glance around nervously, her eyes darting from passerby to passerby as if expecting to be caught in the act. Sensing her unease, Sunoo squeezed her hand reassuringly.
"Relax, Minji," he murmured, his voice low and soothing. "No one's paying attention to us."
Minji shot him a pointed look. "Someone might see us," she whispered, her voice tinged with anxiety.
Sunoo chuckled softly. "And if they do?" he replied, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "I'm not ashamed to be seen with you."
Blushing furiously, Minji swatted his arm playfully. "Stop it," she scolded, though the smile tugging at the corners of her lips betrayed her true feelings.
As they continued their walk, Sunoo's expression grew more serious, his thoughts turning to a topic that had been weighing on his mind for some time.
"Minji," he began tentatively, "when do you think we should tell our friends about us?"
