Haewon and Sunghoon stepped into the familiar confines of the forest cabin, the comforting scent of pine and cedar enveloping them like an old friend. Sunghoon's determination was palpable as he turned to Haewon, his gaze steady and resolute.
"I mean it, Haewon," he declared, his voice firm with resolve. "I will learn with sincerity, so I can become as skilled as you as quickly as possible."
Haewon met his gaze with a mixture of pride and encouragement. "I get you, Sunghoon," she said, her voice gentle yet unwavering. "But more than that, I want you to surpass me."
Sunghoon's brow furrowed in surprise at her words, a hint of disbelief flickering in his eyes. "Why would you want that?" he asked, his voice laced with genuine curiosity.
Haewon's smile softened as she reached out to touch his arm, her touch gentle yet reassuring. "Because I believe in your potential," she replied, her tone sincere. "And because I know that together, we can achieve anything."
Sunghoon's gaze softened at her words, a warmth spreading through him at the unwavering faith she placed in him. "Thank you, Haewon," he murmured, his voice filled with gratitude.
With a nod of acknowledgment, Haewon turned to leave, her steps purposeful as she made her way towards the courtyard. "Meet me there after you freshen up," she called over her shoulder, a hint of anticipation in her voice.
Sunghoon watched her go, a sense of determination burning within him as he set about preparing himself for the training ahead. As he washed away the sweat and grime of their journey, he couldn't shake the feeling of excitement that coursed through him, a sense of anticipation for what lay ahead.
Once he was ready, Sunghoon made his way to the courtyard, his heart pounding with a mixture of nerves and excitement. Haewon was already there, her eyes bright with anticipation as she greeted him with a smile.
"Ready to start this the right way?" she asked, her voice filled with energy.
Sunghoon nodded, his determination renewed as he squared his shoulders and met her gaze. "Ready as I'll ever be," he replied, his voice steady with resolve.
They both stood facing each other. "What are you confident in learning first?" she asked, her tone gentle as she sought to gauge Sunghoon's preferences.
Sunghoon paused, his brow furrowing in thought as he considered her question carefully. "I know I haven't been able to learn healing yet," he admitted, his voice tinged with a hint of frustration. "And I want to approach it with the utmost confidence. So, I'd like to wait until I feel ready for that."
Haewon nodded in understanding, a reassuring smile playing at the corners of her lips. "That's perfectly fine," she assured him. "We'll take it at your pace, no rush."
