Together, they made their way through the backstage area. They emerged into the cool night air, a sense of relief washing over them, their escape from the chaos of the concert venue feeling like a small victory amidst the night's chaos.

With Chan's car waiting just a short distance away, Sunghoon helped Haewon into the passenger seat, their hearts pounding in unison as they prepared to leave the scene behind them.

The car sped away from the chaos of the concert venue, Sunghoon's hands tightened on the steering wheel, his heart still racing with adrenaline. "Holy shit," he breathed, his voice barely above a whisper. "That did not just happen."

Beside him, Haewon remained silent for a moment, her expression unreadable as she processed the events of the night. Eventually, she reached for her phone, her fingers trembling slightly as she dialed Minji's number. But there was no answer.

Frowning, Haewon tried again, only to be met with the same result. "She's not picking up," she said, frustration evident in her voice.

Sunghoon glanced at her sympathetically before suggesting, "Try calling Sunoo instead."

Haewon nodded and dialed Sunoo's number, her heart pounding in her chest as she waited for him to pick up. When he finally answered, relief flooded through her veins like a tidal wave.

"Are you guys okay?" she asked, her voice tinged with worry. "Did you make it out safely?"

"Yeah, don't worry," Sunoo replied reassuringly. "We're out and safe. Everything's fine."

Haewon sighed in relief, a weight lifting from her shoulders at the sound of his voice. "Good," she said softly. "Thanks, Sunoo. Take care of yourselves."

With a final exchange of well-wishes, they ended the call, the tension in the car slowly dissipating as they continued on their journey into the night.

Sunghoon and Haewon arrived back at the cabin. While parking the car Haewon got out first, her steps faltered, strength waning with each passing moment. She stumbled inside, her breath coming in ragged gasps as she leaned against the doorframe for support. Sunghoon had enough of it as he watched her struggle, he went straight behind her, concern etched into every line of his face.

"Haewon," he called out, his voice urgent as he caught up to her and gently grasped her arm, turning her around to face him. "You need blood."

Haewon shook her head weakly, her stubbornness flaring up despite her deteriorating condition. "I'm fine," she insisted, her voice barely a whisper.

Sunghoon's patience wore thin as he watched her feebly attempt to brush off her obvious fatigue. "No, you're not," he retorted, his tone firm.

Their argument hung heavy in the air, tension crackling between them as Haewon stubbornly resisted Sunghoon's insistence. "I don't need it," she protested, her voice strained with defiance.
