Deacon

She sure does get me all hot under the collar especially in that cute summer dress of hers and her blonde locks falling over her face. It's all I could do not to reach out and touch her. She's going to think I am over stepping the friendship boundary, besides, what would a younger woman want with me? I'm in my thirties already and she's still in her twenties. I'm way too old for her. Aren't I?

Although, now I'm thinking about Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas only because I cannot think of any other older woman, younger men relationships that have worked.

I love how she's blushing right now. It's so damn cute. Everything about Daisy is cute and yet so womanly and sexy. Her long colt like legs would be the perfect fit around my waist as I hoist her up into my arms. Is it me or is it hot outside? This woman is killing me and my dick is starting to ache.

"I'll catch you around." I say smirking at her as she rustles off and gives me a small wave.

"Oh, are you girls going out tonight?" I shout after her, because you know, I just don't want her to be gone yet.

"We sure are, Deacon. We're going to paint Lazy Duke's tonight, kick up our heels and do some singing and dancing."

"Oh my, that's going to be a sight. You best behave yourself, Daisy. I know what you can get like when you get some of those tequila shots in you." I smirk and give her a wink. That girl can roar up a bar in seconds. I'm telling you. The last time she had far too much to drink, she was dancing on the table tops and kicking her legs up high. It took Logan to fireman lift her off and hurl her in that truck of his and take her home.

Needless to say the following morning, Daisy looked a little green. Still gorgeous but you know, that hangover was a mean ass one.

"Of course I'm going to behave myself, I'll not dance on any tables tonight. I'll keep my skirt down to my knees and behave like a proper lady." She laughs, the sound hits my hears like a symphony. Delightful, her laughter and gaiety has a certain tinkle to it. I love it. If there was one sound I'd have to choose to listen to for eternity, it'd definitely be Daisy's laughter.

"Make sure you do, or you'll have me to deal with and I do not want to be called away from my poker game to arrest any unwanton men harassing you."

"Oh, Deacon, relax. It's just Sage, Holly, Eliza, Sadie, Lottie and I."

"Exactly, when you and Lottie get together, chaos ensues." I remark. It's true those two seem to get into all sorts of trouble. Because they're both stunning men fawn after them and with their playful ways, they can sometimes be misread.

Only a couple of weeks ago, Logan and I had to set some guy straight because he was hitting on Daisy and pawing her at the bar. All she'd said was "hi," and "nice to meet you," then chatted about Willowbrook and the folk. You know some guys just misread a situation and he certainly did. Not being a local, Logan had his eye on the guy from up on stage and when he went t0o far with his hand on the base of Daisy's back, Logan was off the stage like a shot and pushing the guy.

Yep, that meant I had to step in from my small corner of the bar at Lazy Duke's and pull the whole nine yards, Marshal shit. That's how it goes. That girl is a damn magnet.

Daisy blows me kisses, "have a good game of poker. No taking all their money you card shark you." It's been known for me to clean up since I am pretty good at the game, I've been playing cards ever since my grand pop sat me on his knee. We'd spend hours on a Sunday after lunch my grand mama would make, playing cards. Okay, so poker came a bit later when I was around thirteen. I'm a pretty mean player and I like to win.
