Daisy
I wait until he has gotten back in his vehicle and left, not before checking out that mighty fine, tight ass of his. I am mortified about last night and do not want anyone to see me. My phone beeps, why does it have to be so loud? And why did I have to drink quite so much?
Hey girl, did you hear from Sage yet?
Nope why what's up?
She and Logan are having a weekend cabin for us all to go to with them for their pre-wedding get together.
Oh, isn't she having a bachelorette party?
No, they discussed it last night, she's not bothered about strippers and going to a club she said she'd rather have us all go to a cabin and we can all chill out. Logan will bring his guitar
Sounds amazing. When is this, only they're getting married in a couple of months and I know Logan and she are really busy with the fundraiser and all?
We're all going next weekend, she booked it last night at the bar?
Wow, that was quick she doesn't waste anytime.
You know what Sage is like, Daisy. Once she's got an idea in her head that's it. Oh by the way, Deacon will be going to since he's Logan's best man.
Right, of course?
BTW, how is your head this morning? Mine is through the roof, wish I hadn't drunk so much last night.
That makes me chuckle at least I'm not suffering alone.
It's pretty bad but I have to get to the shop and open up. I just don't think I can face anyone coming in especially not after being flung over Deacon's shoulder. What a sham and so embarrassing.
Girl, it was funny. Damn I wouldn't mind him throwing me over his shoulder anytime soon. He should have carried you straight to his cabin and onto his bed. That'd sort you both out once and for all.
Lottie, you're not helping right now.
Gotta go, I have to be at work myself soon. Catch up with you tonight over hot chocolate and a corny Netflix movie, how does that sound?
Sounds perfect, you can stay over at mine, we'll have our own quiet girls night in with our pjs on.
Wait, invite Sage see if she can come that way we can talk about the wedding, we didn't cover much of it last night other than Logan has got his band playing and the cake is organized. Your mom is making it.
I thought she might be, mom is an amazing baker and it'll be to die for.
I know, right. Can't wait for the wedding.
Me neither.
Love you
Love you too, Lottie
I place my phone down and set some kibbles in Bonnie's bowl for her before heading into my shower. Everyone loves a wedding but this one is special, ten years apart and now getting married again, it's the thing that romance books and movies is made of. It makes me smile, even though my head hurts so bad.
Thirty minutes later and I feel a bit more human, and after my second coffee. Bonnie is purring loudly for me to let her out. That reminds me I need to ask Logan to come over at some point and put the cat flap in that I bought about six months ago. I keep forgetting.
I open my shop bypassing a stop off at Bluebell's, yeah I am ducking and diving from seeing anyone who may have been at Lazy Duke's last night and seen the car park spectacle. I want a quiet day working on the prom dress for Janice. I also need to make time with Sage to discuss the bridesmaid dresses, I've made the mock-ups and we all need to have a fitting. Tying that woman down around the practice, the fundraiser and everything else she fits in can sometimes be hard work.
