Daisy
Oh my, you should have seen the look on Deacon's face, it was a picture. I almost feel sorry for that poor man, I know he is caught between a rock and a hard place so to speak. It's obvious he wants me and I couldn't be more obvious if I tried to be with him.
The band is striking up and Logan is taking to the stage. I know he's going to belt out one of his love songs for Sage. Apparently, he has been writing some new material. His voice is deep and rich when he begins to sing, his words flow. It's a song about his childhood sweetheart, who got away but came back and things weren't easy for a while, but he won her heart.
Honestly, the words are bringing a lump to my throat. I catch as Sage looks on at him, it's beautiful. Their love is what I want and preferably with Deacon. Even if he thinks he is too old for me. He is watching me watching Sage and Logan, I can tell from the corner of my eye. Lottie turns and gives me a glance and cocks her head. She is dying to speak with me, but I also know she doesn't want to leave Ryle's side, who has got an arm slung round the back of her chair. She sure didn't waste time getting cozy with our new firefighter in town. It makes me chuckle.
Deacon sitting so close to me is making me catch my breath, I could fan my face right now. I mean it's fall, we're high up in the mountain area so strictly speaking it's not that hot right now in the early evening which it is right this moment, but I am hot. Very. Hot. His presence it making butterflies swarm freely in my stomach.
"Nice song." He leans in and whispers into my ear, the sensation oh my god, that sensation makes my body alight. I am so ready for this man like never before. Sure, I've had relationships here and there but they were all kids from High School, not a masculine brute of a man like Marshal Deacon. He's always been mannish, you know what I mean. Broad shoulders, his scruff that he rarely shaves even though I know for a fact he gives his guys at the station flack for if they don't look shaved.
Sage, Eliza, Lottie and Ryle clap when Logan is finished. He extends his hand for Sage to head up to the make-shift stage where his band are waiting for her. "How about my beautiful lady, you come up here and sing a song with me for our good friends and family." She doesn't hesitate as she takes his hand and goes to stand next to him. They make me swoon, the way he wraps his arm around her tiny waist. Logan bends his head down to kiss my future sister-in-law and truly, I could not be happier for a better sister-in-law than these two. Oh, and what about when they have kids. I am hoping they have a whole brood, I want more nieces and nephews. I hardly get to see my other brother's kids since they don't live close to us at all and with his travelling for his business for long periods of time, my sister-in-law travels with him. They usually have stay aways from six months to two years.
"Aww, isn't that the cutest." I turn to say to Deacon, he is leaning back on his chair, his legs kicked out forward with his ankles resting one on the other. It doesn't go unnoticed by my eager eyes that it looks like he has a fairly sizeable package between his legs. I fan myself. He shoots up his eyebrows just as Sage begins to sing. It's one of their earlier duets which they wrote when they were in High School together, called He is just a boy and I am just a girl. It's a cute song and I still think they should be releasing their stuff on their own YouTube channel.
"Something getting you all hot and bothered, Daisy?" Deacon asks me, his lips upturned.
"No. What on earth makes you say that?"
"Oh, just the way you're checking me out between my legs and fanning your hotself there."
"So, you think I'm hot then do you?"
"Everyman in Willowbrook thinks you're hot, Daisy. I'm no different." My body literally zings, he thinks I'm hot. Ooo, I feel girlish like a fifteen year kid knowing that a senior thinks she is hot and sexy.
"Is that so. Maybe I just want one man in particular to think I'm hot, Deacon."
"Maybe he does already. What do you have to say to that?"
I am blushing furiously, I am playing with fire here. Flirting with Logan's best friend and all. Not that I bet, Logan would have anything to say about it. He's not really the possessive big brother, okay sometimes he was when I had started to bloom. Yeah, maybe. But I'm pretty sure he'd have no issues with Deacon and I hooking up. Only, I'm not just after a hook up but Deacon might be. After all he's in his mid-thirties and hasn't settled down yet. He has never mentioned wanting to or having kids and I definitely want kids. At least four of them. Two boys and two girl, even though I know it doesn't always work that way, honestly, I'd be happy with whatever the good Lord gives me.
"I'd say that's a good thing because I only think one man in the whole of Willowbrook is hot." I pronounce.
"Really and who exactly might that be, Daisy?" Is he for real, he's putting me right on the spot. He chuckles as his arms are folded in front of his chest. Sage is really belting the song out now with Logan. Lottie turns again in her chair, is she checking up on Deacon and I? Little minx I bet she is. I poke my tongue out at her.
"Childish." Deacon says. Instantly, I feel silly for doing that I mean it just highlights that even though I'm in my very early twenties, compared to him I probably come across as some kid.
"She deserves it." I smile at him.
"You didn't answer my question." He says watching me closely, I want to fan myself again. He's making my panties wet the way his eyes are on mine, he runs his tongue over his lower, full lip. He is a man-tease.
"Do I need to tell you, Deacon?"
"I'd like to know who my competition is, Daisy." He chuckles. I swat him on the arm.
"You." I breathe.
"I didn't hear you." He says. I glare at him and toss my hair over my shoulder. He grabs it with one hand and fists it as he brings my face so close to his, I can smell the beer on his breath. He brushes my lower lip with his thumb.
"Tell me again so I can be clear on that."
"You." I manage to say as my breath catches.
"I think you're extremely hot Daisy and there are things I'd like to do with you that no other man has ever done."
Did he really just say that? Am I panting? I think I'm panting. I catch Lottie giving me a sly wink and focus my eyes back to Deacon's. His forehead rests on mine. "But I won't."
He lets go of my hair and I almost collapse and pool into a puddle right there at his feet.
"I want you too. I want you to show me and teach me all the things I've never experienced." Whoa, aren't I the bold one? Where has this come from? It's not me, but this man is making me do and say things I'd never do or say before.
His lips are upturned, I bite my lower lip. "I want everything you've got Deacon."
His eyes are dark, his pupils are large I can see them even with just the fairy lights on and the candle lit on our table. "I can't go there with you, Daisy. Once I start, I'll never be able to stop. You will be my addiction."
My pussy is begging for him, my thighs clench together. "That's exactly what I want Marshal Deacon." I can see between his legs, that he's got a raging hard-on bulging in his pants and I am itching to take it in my hand and feel him in my fingers.
Deacon shakes his head whilst I am thinking, we'll see about that. He won't be able to resist me. Will he?
