My phone rings and I reach for it off the table that is to my right, it forms an L shape with my main sewing table. I've been so engrossed in the prom dress that I realize, as I look at my mobile that it's already lunch time. Where has the time gone? No wonder my stomach is making all sorts of strange noises.

It's a message from Sage, Logan's wife-to-be. It's so exciting that he and Sage will be finally going down the aisle. Funny, if she had never left Willowbrook for Michigan where she started her medical career, they'd probably have been married a long time ago and maybe I'd be an aunty to his kids already. I sure am looking forward to that. Sage and Logan will have beautiful babies.

Are we still on for girl's night out later. Thought we could chat wedding stuff too? I smile at her message. It's been so great to reconnect with Sage. Even though I am a lot younger than Sage and Logan, when I was a kid she'd always have time for me. There's about an eight year age gap and when Sage started dating Logan back in school, she'd always take me out on the swings, on her shopping trips and basically treated me like her kid sister. It was adorable, we'd have girls movie nights and it never seemed to fuss her that I was so much younger. Now of course it doesn't seem like there are any years between us, but you know what it's like when you're say eight and your bro's girlfriend is sixteen. You wouldn't expect them to take much interest, but Sage, she's always loved me.

Sure am up for it. Lazy Duke's still? I can be there for eight.

Fantastic, Holly is going to meet us there. That's Sage's best friend she stayed here in Willowbrook, got married after school and had the kids. Her husband works in insurance the last I heard.

What about Eliza and Sadie? I ask. Eliza pretty much runs the practice for Logan and acts as his assistant and Sadie is their nurse. I adore Sadie, she takes no crap from anyone, says it how it is and the best thing is that you never quite know what color hair she's going to have from one week until the next. Currently, she is sporting hot pink, it must be her favorite shade because she hasn't changed it for a while. She also wears a pretty cool nose ring, I'd love to get one but I'm way too chicken for that.

Absolutely, they are both going to be there too and will Lottie be able to come? The more the merrier.

I'll shoot her a message and let her know to join us. I doubt she's got anything going on.

Great, I have to fly, I have a patient in a few minutes just wanted to tie up this evening's girls night out.

You got it. See you tonight. Oh, wait. Isn't Logan playing tonight?

Nope, he and the guys including Deacon are off to his folks for a poker and beer night.

Ah, that means we can have a few drinks and get a bit silly. Maybe they'll hook up the karaoke for us. That'll be huge fun.

Absolutely, can you drop Abe a message and ask him to set it up for us please? Right, I really do have to go. See you tonight. Love you, D xx

Love you too, Sage. See you tonight at 8:00 P.M.

I smile, I can't wait to see the girls tonight and let your hair down. It's not something we do often, what I mean is we usually meet up on a Friday but some of us have to work on a Saturday and it isn't funny with a hangover, as much as I love Tequila and Apple Cider, it doesn't like me too much the next morning.

Tomorrow, I have a clear deck so I can afford a couple of drinks this evening and Karaoke is my favorite. I can't sing, not at all but who cares, I love it. Sage on the other hand, when she sings a ballad it can send shivers up and down your spine.
