Daisy
Oh wow, I am almost beside myself. Me and Deacon, one room, one bed perhaps, this could be all my dreams rolled into one. He looks very uncomfortable almost like he is squirming. Lottie shoots me a look and grins. Ryle looks from her to me. He looks like he is squirming too, I bet he is since Lottie has made no bones about the fact that she'd like to be jumping his bones tonight. I try not to guffaw. Sage appears mildly stressed, "come on let's crack the drinks open." I say, she needs something to take the edge off.
"Drinks, we're having lunch first and it's a maximum of one glass of wine or a beer each. Logan has got logs to bring in, the guys can help bring all your luggage in, you need to settle Bonnie down and then we're all going for a walk and a treasure hunt." Sage exhales.
"A treasure hunt? Oh, I don't think I am up for that." Sage almost glares at Eliza.
"It's not a massive trek, Eliza you can manage it." Eliza's husband chuckles.
"She isn't really one for walking unless it's to the corner shop are you, Dear?" She shoots him a look that says shut it. I chuckle, nothing will phase me today since I have the knowledge that Deacon and I will share a room.
"Er, is there a spare bed in the room?" Deacon asks out of the blue. Sage furrows her brow.
"Oh, for goodness sake, Deacon. You have known Daisy since she was a kid, behave yourself. I am sure for a couple of nights you two can act like adults. Stuff a pillow between you. I fucked up what can I say?" She raises her hands in the air then huffs out to the back of the cabin where I assume the kitchen is.
Logan shrugs his shoulders. "Wedding stuff, you know how it is guys." I pick my jaw off the ground, only Sage is usually pretty unflappable and has everything under control, but then I guess she hasn't had to try to plan a wedding before on top of all her other commitments and she sure does have a lot going on with work, fundraisers, looking after her and Logan's horses, running a clinic for teenage girls who have gotten themselves pregnant. It's exhausting just thinking about all the things Sage onboards one after the other.
"Right, I am going out to fetch the logs in. The rest of you can sort everything out in your allocated rooms. Deacon come give me a hand please after you take Daisy and Lottie's bags up. Ryle, can you help Sadie and Lottie with theirs please?" Logan sounds authoritarian all of a sudden, go bro. Ryle nods.
"Sure, no problem."
I walk through the open space, with its high vaulted wood beam ceiling, take a look out of the floor to ceiling windows on either side. The day is bright and sunny, the perfect fall day. I follow Deacon towards the wooden stair case checking out how tight and high his butt out. He sure must work out an awful lot. He's built mighty fine. He takes Lottie's big case up under one arm, the strength of that man. I wonder what it'd feel like for him to swoop me up in his arms and carry me to our bedroom tonight.
Oo, it makes me all warm and fuzzy just thinking about it as a rush of heat purrs its way up from my lower regions to my stomach. I clench my thighs together. He checks over his shoulder. "I hope you're not checking my ware out."
"Who me?" I blush, he caught me dammit. Lottie sniggers. I push her gently as we go up the wide staircase. At the top the railing goes round to the right, in front of us are three wooden, large doors and two at the far end of the corridor. "This way, Lottie, Sadie." He says and shows them to their room. "Here you go, I'll let you ladies get settled in and meet you with the others downstairs." He glances behind me and sees Eliza's husband with their luggage.
"Let me give you a hand." He says to Eliza's husband.
"Thanks, I think Eliza has packed the kitchen sink and the bath tub." He jokes.
"Which one is our room, hunk?" I ask Deacon. He rolls his eyes at me once he has placed Eliza's cases in the room allocated to them.
"This one." He points to a room at the end of the corridor which is also flooded with light from the sky lights and a side window. It sure does look pretty being able to look up and see the blue sky today without a cloud in sight. It's going to be a cold night but I know just the man who can keep me warm. I blush again thinking about Deacon and what he has hiding in his pants.
"Daisy." His voice brings me back to the now.
"Yes, coming." I'd like to be coming all over his cock. I follow him to the pine distressed door and allow him to open it before stepping inside. It's a large square space with sliding doors at the far end, which appear to lead onto a balcony. I walk towards it and take a look. "Wow the view of the mountains is breathtaking."
"It sure is. As you can see there is a sofa in here." I take a glance around and see it. A tiny little two seater made of a patchwork fabric with a blanket to match thrown over the back of it and a couple of scatter cushions. Next to it stand a small, round table with a 1920's lamp on it. Quaint. I love it.
"And your point is?" I raise my eyebrows at him.
"My point is, that is where I will be sleeping, Daisy." He has his hands on his hips, his narrow hips that show off just how broad and muscular his shoulders are. From the kid in High School, Deacon sure has grown into a fine looking man, I notice the stubble on his square jaw, it's sexy as hell. His voice is gruff.
"Don't be ridiculous it's tiny. You can sleep in the bed, just see how big that bed is and comfortable." I throw myself on it and pat the side by me.
"Forget it, Daisy. I am not getting in that bed with you."
"Relax will you, Deacon. I'll put some pillows between us, only I think it's going to be chilly this evening, I may need you to warm me up." There goes the eye roll again, as I smile sweetly.
He appears a bit hot under the collar, now he has his arms folded in front of his chest. "I don't think so."
"Why, are you scared of me?" I ask him, tilting my head to the side. Am I flirting with him? You bet I am.
"No, I'm scared of what I might do." His voice is deep and gravelly, it zings my entire body in an instant as butterflies erupt in my stomach and I feel wetness between my legs. This without him even touching me, but his eyes and the way he is looking at me, I can tell with his pupils now increased in size that he wants me as much as I want him. And I still haven't forgotten how close I was to him in the stable, nor how we were about to have a passionate embrace.
"Really? Is that so? Well then maybe we should do something about it."
"Don't tempt me, Daisy. I swear just don't even go there."
I cannot wait for tonight, It is a good job I have packed my finest lingerie. Having to share a bedroom at Sage's insistence is the icing on the cake.
