The last ten days has been a whirlwind of everything I could wish for. Of course you guessed it, I said yes to moving in with Deacon. For a few seconds back then I thought he was going to pop the question to me, but you know this is a step in the right direction and honestly, he seems a bit nervous of late so I am thinking that Marshal Deacon has got something on his mind and if it's wedding bells, then I am more than ready.

My brother's wedding is tomorrow and everyone is beyond excited especially our mother. She's like a fussing hen the way she keeps checking everything is ready, Sage has got the patience of a saint. Lord knows how she will be when it's my wedding one day.

Deacon and I have spent nights being cozy on the sofa watching movies, mostly Hallmark movies, I think I've converted him, finally. I love the way that we sit together snuggled up with Bonnie now used to the idea that the cabin is our home. She roams around outside to her heart's content, she's stopped giving Deacon the evil eye when he has his arms around me or cuddles me in bed. In fact she has taken to sleeping down at his feet at night, after she's given him a chin bump with her tiny black head at night before settling down. It's adorable.

"Hey, Buttercup are you ready yet?" Am I. He's taking me on a surprise. Another surprise, the man is full of them. The other day he took me to a new restaurant in Copper Town, a smart fancy, French restaurant that has just opened, we had the entire restaurant to ourselves. Is he leading up to something do you think? It kind of feels like it.

"Won't be a minute." I slip into my riding boots, since he said we were going out on the horses, his horses since Dreamer is still too young to be ridden but oh my, he's becoming so beautiful. Every time I go to the stable he comes to the door and leans his head over my shoulder and comes in for a proper big hug. I love Dreamer so fiercely and to think that Deacon bought him for me, makes it even more special and that he rescued the little thing for me.

Deacon's sister, Maxine has got all the permissions through for Deacon to open up for a riding school for the underprivileged children and for children with disabilities. He's taken on two volunteers who are trained to work with the children and two full-time staff. Next week he and Maxine are heading to a different horse auction to select a few more horses, he says they'll buy four more horses at this juncture, and see how it goes. If the demand increases then they will get a few more. It's not like he doesn't have the space. The land he acquired at the end of his land stands in at a few thousand acres.

The fall sun streams through the bedroom window casting a gorgeous glow across the oak flooring, and the large bed with crumpled sheets from our love making this morning. I ought to make the bed but Deacon is hollering up at me again. Bonnie is lying on the bed on her back, her paws in the air. I snap a quick picture of her and post it to my Instagram account with the hashtag #caturday since it's a Saturday.

I grab my cream cardigan from the balloon backed chair in front of the antique dressing table, which Deacon told me had belonged to grandma and give Bonnie a kiss before heading down the wooden stairs.

"Okay, ready." He looks at me, a smile spreads across his face. Have I told you how handsome this man is? He's a dream come true with his broad shoulders, the way he tapers down nicely to narrow hips and those muscular thighs of his encased today in a pair of tight black jeans. He wears cowboy boots and I swear I'm lusting after him, even though we were up until the early hours exploring one another's bodies. I could never tire of this man. I am the happiest woman alive right now, well okay, maybe except Sage who is going to be my brother's wife tomorrow.

"You look radiant, Buttercup."

"I'm not surprised, you gave me some serious multiple orgasms last night, Deacon." He reaches out his hand, I take it and he leads me out the front door. I hook my arm through his as we walk towards the stable.
