Ahsoka and Barriss took out the droid factory while Anakin and Master Unduli blew up the bridge. In the aftermath, the Puggle escaped forcing the Jedi to regroup. Luminara had gone off in search of the Puggle to track him down. Now they had to wait until the Jedi contacted them.

Cassandra, Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Master Mundi were in the control room of the newly established base gathered around the holo map planning their next move. Captain Rex studied the readouts from a datapad. "Sir, there's a sandstorm coming in."

"Blast, that's not good

"Blast, that's not good." Obi-Wan cursed, nervously tugging at his beard.

"Your Jedi friend is going to be in a real pickle." Cassandra drawled, studying the digital readings the clone held. The radar spun around a massive wall of dust speeding toward them. "I've never battled the elements with magic before. I wonder if-"

"Now, isn't the time for unsolicited experiments." The older Jedi interrupted.

Cassandra reared back at Obi-Wan's frigid tone, offended.

Anakin frowned heavily at his old master. "Don't talk to her like that Obi-Wan. Cassandra is trying to help."

Obi-Wan folded his arms stiffly in response. "Apologies, my dear. Everyone is on edge. We've taken the planet but still have cleanup to handle."

Over his head, Cassandra shared a confused look with her boyfriend.

The Jedi had been acting weird since returning to Geonosis from his healing sojourn aboard the medical frigate. Any time Obi-Wan met Cassandra's gaze, the corner of his mouth twitched with displeasure.

Maybe he was going through the guy version of menopause? It's in the name: Men-o-pause. At any rate, everyone had more important things to worry about than Obi-Wan being a bigger dick than usual.

The sandstorm descended like a slavering beast, roaring over the domed roof of the base. Grains of sand whipped against the portholes rattling the glass panes. Cassandra backed to the center of the room away from the windows in case the storm blew them out.

Anakin's heavy footsteps rang against the floor as he aimed for the exit.
