"Go! I've got her!" Obi-Wan barked again, jabbing his lightsaber toward the portal. The weapon hummed and sizzled in the rain. He kept his eyes glued on Ventress as he spoke. "I can handle this!"

Cassandra's pulse leaped in her throat, meeting the other female's predatory gaze across the courtyard.

A condescending smirk spread slowly across Ventress' pointed face. She propped a fist on her hip, thrusting her breasts forward in a seductive pose. "What's this? Don't tell me you've gone and replaced me with this little girl, Kenobi? I doubt she knows how to satisfy a man."

Lightning flashed, thunder growling above. Obi-Wan smoothed his dripping hair along his scalp, sliding into a defensive stance. "Go!"

Cassandra hesitated another moment before diving into the Mirror Dimension, closing the barrier behind her. The Jedi was familiar with his opponent which meant he'd likely battled her before.

Ventress ignited a pair of red lightsabers, spinning them expertly in her grip. "I'm disappointed, Kenobi. Where's Skywalker? At least together the two of you give me a decent workout."

Cassandra gagged at the double entendre. Ew. Gross. As if, Anakin would ever go for this bitch. She hated that Ventress talked about her boyfriend like a piece of meat.

"Don't worry, my sweet. I promise not to bore you." Obi-Wan promised splashing across the courtyard to attack.

Cassandra didn't stick around to watch the rest of the battle unfold. Dr. Khal and her team remained unaccounted for. She had to go find them. With the Republic fleet battling the Separatists above and everyone else hiding in the Mirror Dimension, it fell to her to launch a rescue mission to save the archaeologists.

Racing through El-Arda's slick streets, Cassandra sped around the corner, coming across an abandoned landspeeder parked by a curb. The key happened to be in the ignition.

"Should I?" She considered out loud.

Flying a landspeeder through the Mirror Dimension would be easier than altering miles of landscape to travel. Porting was out of the question too because Cassandra had no clue what she'd discover at Najma Temple. She might port right into the middle of a warzone.

"Yep, I totally should." Cassandra concluded after another second's deliberation. She pulled the speeder into the Mirror Dimension and kicked the vehicle into gear. "A little grand theft auto never hurt anyone. Here goes nothing."

"Two o'clock, vulture droids!" Ahsoka shouted behind Anakin.

He checked the navi-computer on the starfighter's console. Three ships flashed on the radar. Anakin hit a switch. "Deflector shields at maximum! Prepare for evasive action!"

"I've got your back, Sky Guy." Ahsoka assured him, firing the rear guns.

The remote piloted ships veered to avoid the laser bolts. Anakin whipped the starfighter around and charged the vulture droids head on.
