Ethan POV

 

I couldn’t say I wasn’t disappointed when Emma figured out that Christ was her real mate. I wasn’t going to angry about it though I was going to be there and protect her. If what Stefan said was true she was going to have my child some day hopefully sooner than later. When she did I would be there for them both.

I made my way to the study. I had a lot of things to discuss with my father and Emma’s grandfather. I had to fill them in on what I had learned and find a way for us all to stay together and protect Emma. I didn’t know what that would mean honestly. Alphas did work together at times but they would never combine the packs. I think a big exception could be made since my sister was now the mate of the next pack Alpha. I was also willing to leave my pack and join Emma’s just so that I could help protect her and in terms my future mate.

I knocked and then stepped in to the office. If there is something I learned about Alphas is that they don’t usually get along well. The tension in the room was thick and no one was talking it looked like everyone had just exploded. Emma’s grandfather was sitting behind his desk, Josh on his left and Emma’s father to his right. My father and Brandon were sitting in the couches in front and I took my place to my father’s right.

“We have a lot to discuss” I state and quickly tell them everything Stefan said. It was a good two hours before I was done. They all made me repeat the story several times and specific things Stefan said. There was a long silent and then Brandon was sent to get Stefan so he was questioned as well.

“I don’t understand how this could happen!” my father growled finally breaking the long silence. He stood up and walked around the study trying to calm his wolf. “We can’t allow Emma to have children! We can’t allow our race to mix…”

“Father HOW dare you say that! She will have my M-A-T-E” I shout turning to face him my wolf was ready to break out. I knew I couldn’t win against a fight with my father but I didn’t have to win just damage him enough.

“Losing your mate will have to be a scarifies you should take to prevent this impurity to take place” I growled loudly at this. I couldn’t believe my father was like this sure I knew he had see what the war had brought but I didn’t think it would cause him to be this bitter. I didn’t think he would hate the mixture of bloods so much.

“I will protect Emma with my life” I spat out in response I was lingering in the midst of shifting to my wolf.

“I fully agree with your father there Ethan we can’t allow Emma to live” her grandfather the other alpha chimed in. “Ken why don’t we go find that little whore and kill her already.”

“I will fight both of you if it means saving Emma” I snarled out.

“I knew you would agree Mathew… after all you threw your own son out of his home for mating with a human. Emma would be much worst than a human in your eyes” he stated with a chuckle. “I wanted to see if you would follow my lead and now that we all know were you stand we can move from here.”
