~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Emma POV~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Christ had filled me in while he made me eat some left over meat and veggies. I was surprised at how crazy I had gone and the mere fact that I had gone vampire. My head hurt whenever I tried to conjure up the images of the days past. Instead of heading back up to my room like we normally did Christ decided I needed fresh air.
So we walked out of the pack house and to the back yard. I smiled softly at the snow and knew because of my wolf I couldn’t feel it nearly as much as I would have when I was a human. I glance back at Christ who was staring at me and I blushed immediately.
“I love when you blush” Christ says gently caressing my cheek with his fingers the sensation leaving tingles on my cheek making them heat up even more.
“So… should we talk about this whole vampire thing?” I ask and plop down on the ground. I really liked how it was covered with snow and how the sent of the men I killed was gone. Werewolves were great at cleaning up apparently because scents of the dead would bring other werewolves in to the territory.
Although I liked snow I couldn’t help but wish it were summer. I laid back down on the snow and closed my eyes. I missed the warm summer air and the cool grass. If you didn’t know this snow was not as comfortable as it looked to lay on but grass usually did. I let out a soft sigh and then hear Christ take a seat besides me.
“Emma your too amazing sometimes” he says and then I hear his trade mark chuckle.
“What do you mean?” I ask opening my eyes and looking up at him.
“Look around…” he says then plasters on a smirk.
I look around from my laying down position and notice that I am no longer laying on snow but now I am lying on grass. I smile widely knowing that I did it subconsciously. “That I am… so this whole vampire ability thing?”
“I guess you could say true born vampires are gifted with certain abilities” he says nodding his head and looking up as in thought before plopping down besides me.
“Abilities… like walking on the ceiling?” I ask and frown my mind was trying to remember something else but it couldn’t bring it to the surface.
“That and reading minds” he says and then chuckles at my shocked expression. “You don’t remember that we talked about it do you?”
“No… have you read my mind?” I ask all of a sudden concerned with all the dirty thoughts and images I had at one point or another running through my head about Christ.
“Like I said earlier… I respect your privacy” he kisses my cheek and smiles. “I only use it when necessary…”
“Oh ok cool” I whisper but pray that he was telling the truth I know I shouldn’t be embarrassed since we are mates but I couldn’t help it.
“So anything else you want to know?” he asks pulling me out of my thoughts.
