~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Emma POV~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“I can’t believe we are back now…” I respond stretching out happily ones I am now in our room. I squeeze his hand and smile up at him, yup, I was lucky to be back with him in one piece. Christ gave me a bright smile before lowering his lips to mine and pressing them in a quick peck.
We decided to go find everyone and told them all about our adventure. My parents and growing pack were all happy to get us back. They had been planning and training for the attack we will have on Christ’s parents. Talk about bad in-laws right?
There wasn’t much we had to do; all the details had already been worked out for us. We would all go as a united pack; the element of surprise would be our best bet which Stefan and I would take care of. We would be teleporting everyone in side the castle but Richard asked to be a part of it too as long as we kept Leo home and secured.
To say that Leo was pissed was a freaked understatement but he would be staying back along with Josh and all the female pack members. Of course they wanted me to stay behind but I was dead set on teleporting with everyone else and fighting. Strangely enough Stefan thought it was a good idea because he had already trained me well enough.
After a good nights rest we decided to head to the palace it didn’t take us long not with the magic combination that Stefan and I shared. There were a lot of spell casting on our part; protection spells, healing, concentration and energy jolts. Stefan said that enhancing someone with magic wasn’t a smart idea. We could help them focus their energy inside so it would come out when most needed but Stefan said it was dangerous to enhance someone.
Even the spell we made was risky, it would only last a few hours and afterwards it would put them in to a sleep that was comatose. Which meant that the attack had to be flawless so we could be done before that happened, the pressure is on. Stefan and I created a strong magical concoction that was we took and evaporated in the palace grounds.
The palace was pretty much a mixture of buildings surrounding a mansion, with a few guard stations and regular homes. The gas worked like a charm when we got there most were knocked out except for a few. We told people to tie them; Stefan was magically binding as many as possible. We didn’t just want to go and slather everyone we wanted to try and give them a choice and hope they made the right one. There were innocent people; a few times I spotted children knocked on the ground. They might have an army but they had one with families.
It was as if everything was just working for us, not just the fact that we were all wining with no casualties. Stefan was at the top of his game and so was I. I was moving through the buildings making sure people where out. The thing I didn’t notice was that the main building in the middle was protected magically. Of course after getting a bullet shot through my arm I came quickly to that realization.
“ARGH son of a-“ I began only to be interrupted by another shot but it didn’t hit me this time.
“Language pup… did you really think we wouldn’t have protection against you? That we wouldn’t know your weakness to silver? You’re just like any other wolf” the guard says as he steps out of the building followed by a few others. I heard growling behind me and I knew the guys were coming to check on me.
“Silver? Really? I’m not allergic to silver but that… was not nice” I say standing up straight and flicking my hand his way. I didn’t have to cast spells to make my magic work, all I had to do was think about what I wanted done oh and I did.
