Emma POV

“I’m going to take you to your room ok Christ?” I say softly pulling him along. As soon as I was out of the basement I spotted all the guys pulling bodies in to Leo’s truck unceremoniously. I silently asked forgiveness from them while they were bad guys I still felt sad at the lost. I walked past them and in to the house I spotted Jake between Sophia and Hannah sitting at the stairs.

“What happened?” Hannah asks getting up. “We came in as soon as Brandon said that your cousins were fine so that we wouldn’t be on the way…”

“They were tortured for information… because Christ is a vampire and wolfs hate vampires he got it worst. Would you guys help me bring some warm water and medical stuff please?” I ask and they nodded and disappeared. “Hey Christ I’m going to get us upstairs ok hold on” I let the last bit of magical strength teleport us in to my old room it was much smoother then the last few times I only did a half turn this time which worked in my favor because I was facing the bed.

“Thank you…” Christ whispers lying on the bed. He sighs and looks up at me as if worried I will leave. “Emma… about everything that happened before-”

“We can talk about it some other time ok? For now I want to help you get better…” I say softly. I felt pain in my heart I knew Christ cared about me somewhat because he wanted me to run and be safe rather then help him. He wasn’t a selfish guy but I didn’t know were we stood and I didn’t want to find out not just yet. I just couldn’t take a second rejection from him not, yet at least. I had Ethan and he was enough for me but my wolf had already forgiven Christ the moment she laid eyes on him again.

 Eventhough Christ looked horrible and I mean horrible I still wanted him. His hair was a mess his body was covered in dirt and dry blood. I just wanted to help him clean up but giving him an actual bath I didnt think that would be good for the actual wounds. I smiled softly looking in to his beatiful dark blue eyes and felt as if I would me.

“Thank you” he said again his hand reaching out to grab mine and I let him. The sparks were still there and I craved more but then a knock came from the door and I knew it was the guys.

“Come in” Hannah and Sophia were each caring a first aid kit and Jake had a large bowl of steaming water with a towel.

“Jake please bring me blood from the fridge… it will help me heal” Christ pleaded and as soon as Jake set the bowl by my side he bolted to get it.

“How can we help?” Hannah asks.

“Why don’t you guys get him some fresh cloths from the closet something soft and easy to put on” I ask as I begin to rip his shirt. Hannah went in to the closet and I knew she would take a while but Sophia remained standing just watching us.

“They tortured me with sunlight” Christ says his beautiful blue eyes growing dark and cold.
