The others began searching for music as I remained in the Upside Down with a tranced Nancy. My arms were latched on her shoulders, holding her down just in case she began to float.

Nancy gasped loudly and her eyes flew open as her legs gave out beneath her. I caught her and lowered us to the ground.

"Nancy." I spoke her name in shock as she stared up at me with tearful eyes. "It's okay, Nance. It's okay, I'm here. I'm right here."

Nancy stayed silent as she leaned up and wrapped her arms around my neck. I held onto her, giving her all the time she needed before we climbed the rope back to the real world.

We followed the shouting voices and made it to Eddie's bedroom.

"I mean, what are you even looking for!?" Eddie asked the others.

"Madonna, Blondie, Bowie, Beatles? Music! We need music!" Robin looked through all his tapes.

"This is music!" Eddie yelled, holding up a tape.

I cleared my throat. "Guys."

Everyone's head snapped over to Nancy and I and they looked very confused.

"How-How is-" Dustin pointed at Nancy, but I shook my head because Nancy was still shaken up.

By morning, we all moved into Max's trailer as Nancy sat down and explained what she saw.

"He showed me things that haven't happened yet. The most awful things. I saw a dark cloud speaking over Hawkins. Downtown on fire. Dead soldiers. And this...this giant creature with...a gaping mouth. And this creature wasn't alone. There were so many monsters. An army. And they were coming into Hawkins, into our neighborhoods. Our homes. And then...he showed me my Mom and Holly. Mike. And they...they were all..." Nancy cried.

"Okay, but....he's just trying to scare you, Nance." Steve spoke up. "Right? I mean...it's not real."

"Not yet." Nancy whispered. "But there...there was something else. He showed me gates. Four gates. Spreading across Hawkins. And these gates, they looked like the one outside of Eddie's trailer, but...they didn't stop growing. And this wasn't the Upside Down Hawkins. This was our Hawkins. Our home."

"Four chimes." Max spoke up, causing all of us to look at her. "Vecna's clock. It always chimes four times. Four exactly."

"I heard them, too." Nancy agreed.

"He's been telling us his plan this whole time." Max realized.

"Four kills. Four gates." Lucas looked over at Max. "End of the world."

"If that's true...he's only one kill away." Dustin sighed.

"Oh, Jeez." Eddie muttered.

"Call them again, M." I looked over at Max.

We've been trying to get in contact with Will, Eleven, Mike, Joyce and Jonathan, but there's been no answer.

Max used the phone before hanging up.

"Anything?" Dustin asked.

"No. Rang a few times, then went to a busy signal." Max walked back over to us.

"Maybe you punched it in wrong. Try again." Steve suggested.

"She didn't punch it in wrong." I told Steve.

"Well, I don't know." Steve shrugged.

"Dude, I think she knows how to use a phone." Dustin added.

"I'm just saying, she could've typed it in wrong." Steve defended.
