I was sleeping against Steve's side when I heard a noise.
"Dustin, can you hear me?" It was Eddie. "Dustin? Earth to Dustin?"
I sat up, maneuvering myself out of Steve's arms and over to the radio. I pulled the antenna and pressed the button.
"It's Athena." I said, rubbing my eyes.
"Older Henderson! Hey! Um, I'm gonna need a food delivery, like, really soon, unless you want me going out into the world." Eddie said.
"Yeah, that's not really a smart move, don't you think? We'll bring some food over soon." I replied.
I saw Nancy sitting up beside me.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Listen, um...can you pick me up a six-pack?" He asked. I looked over at Nancy, who rolled her eyes. "I know it's stupid as shit, drinking right now, but a cold beer would really calm my jangled nerves."
I looked over at Nancy, who was staring at the space where Max laid before.
But she was gone.
Nancy's head snapped to me.
"I'm gonna call you back." I put the walkie down.
"No, don't you da-Henderson? Athena!?" Eddie's voice was heard but I put the walkie down and went over to my brother, shoving his shoulders.
"Dustin! Get up!" I shoved him again.
Dustin groaned. "What?"
"Aren't you supposed to be on Max watch?" Nancy spoke up, glaring at him.
"Yep. Yep, yep, yep." Dustin rubbed his eyes. "Sorry."
"So then where the hell is she?" I raised my eyebrows.
"She's right there." Dustin pointed to the empty spot on the couch. "A second ago. I swear, I just dozed off for..." Dustin looked at his watch. "...an hour..."
Nancy and Dustin ran upstairs, telling me to keep watch over everyone else in case I needed to wake them up to search for Max. But then Dustin yelled down. "Found her!"
I sighed in relief, going back over to the walkie.
"Eddie? You there?" I asked.
About ten seconds later there was a reply.
"Not like I can go anywhere else, Wisdom." Eddie said.
"Wisdom?" I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Yeah, like the Goddess Athena?" Eddie replied.
"Right. Uh, six pack and snacks, is that all?" I asked.
"Yes, that is perfect. I'll be waiting, Wisdom." I could hear the smirk in his voice.
I rolled my eyes. Shutting off the walkie.
Nancy ran down the stairs. "Get them up. We've got something."
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Max was drawing things she saw in her vision last night. She drew a house." Nancy began.
"So, what?" I frowned in confusion.
"She drew Victor Creel's house." Nancy told me.
Then I realized. "You think that's where Vecna is?"
Nancy nodded. Her and I woke the others up and told them to get dressed.
Nancy gathered us in her car and drove to the Creel house. We walked up the stairs and towards the door.
