We sat in the trailer, going over the plan.

My new spiked bat was at my feet as I sat beside where Steve stood

"Okay. I wanna run through it one more time. Phase One." Nancy began.

"We meet Erica at the playground." Robin answered. "She'll signal Max and Lucas when we're ready."

"Phase Two." Nancy nodded.

"Max baits Vecna. He'll go after her, which'll put him in his trance." Steve continued.

"Phase Three?" Nancy questioned.

"Me and Eddie draw the bats away." Dustin said proudly.

I still hated that plan.

"Four." Nancy looked at me.

"We head into Vecna's bat free lair and I get a good hit with my bat." I smirked, lifting the spiked bat to my face. "And you guys light him on fire. No one moves on unless we've all copied."

"Nobody deviates from the plan, no matter what." Nancy nodded.

"Got it?" I stood, walking to Nancy's side.

"Got it." The others nodded.

"We've got this." I whispered to Nancy.

She stared at me for a moment before nodding. "Hell yeah we do."

We entered Eddie's trailer to cross over into the Upside Down.

Steve grabbed the rope, ready to climb through first.

"Be-" I began.

"Be careful!" Dustin shoved by me to see Steve. I stared at the back of my brother's head with a hefty glare.

Steve looked at him for a moment before nodding. "Thanks, buddy." He looked up at me. "I'll catch you, baby."

"Didn't catch me last time." I muttered with crossed arms as he climbed the rope.

"Here goes nothing." Steve got to the other side and flipped around so he could land on his feet. He looked up, nodding at us.

"What does he want us to do, applaud?" Robin muttered sarcastically.

"Knowing Steve? Yeah, he does." I nodded.

Steve pulled the mattress from Eddie's Upside Down bedroom under the rope so we could have a safe fall.

"Alright. Let's go." Steve commanded.

Nancy went first, then Eddie and Robin followed before Dustin and I remained. My bat was tossed to the other side and my brother faced me.

"Ladies first." Dustin smirked.

"Absolutely not. Go, dork." I knelt down and put my hands out to boost him.

"I try to be nice." Dustin muttered, but stepped on my foot and I boosted him up.

After he went through, I did.

I landed on my back as I laughed. "What a ride."

"I figured you would find this fun." Nancy shook her head at me, but I saw the smile.

Steve held out his hand and I grabbed it as he pulled me up.

We grabbed our weapons before leaving the trailer.

I turned around, facing Dustin and Eddie.

"Guys." I spoke up as Steve also stopped beside me. "If anything goes wrong. Anything. You run." I looked between them, but mainly kept my eyes on Dustin.
