Dennis didn't need to be convinced to go to Los Angeles. He expressed that he'd love to see his favorite L.A. spot Delilah's.

Initially, Sandi was reluctant to travel to Los Angeles.

Aubrey resorted to pleading and it didn't take long for her to cave in completely. Appearing relieved, he bent at the waist to kiss Destiny's forehead. "I'm going to head upstairs and help her pack."

Oliver waved his phone in front of Aubrey. "Chubbs is on the line. He's already in Los Angeles, on the way to your property."

Relief filled Aubrey's face. "Great. Let him know I'm going to call him, but if he doesn't mind, I'd like him to coordinate with security and the FBI agents there. Once on property, only staff is allowed to leave. Staff will have the option of staying on property instead of driving back and forth between work and their homes. Carlos, the Richards, Destiny, and I won't be allowed to leave grounds. The agents there have been briefed, but I want to make sure everyone is on the same page."

"It sounds like you're about to have a house full of people," Oliver remarked.

Aubrey shrugged. "I'll pretend like it's back in the day, when we were partying all the time."

Oliver chuckled. "The good old days."

Destiny arched a brow at Aubrey and held that expression until he saw it.

Aubrey's cheeks flushed. "Those were the good old days, but I'm living better days now."

    She rolled her eyes.

Placing a hand at his mother's back, Aubrey guided her towards the stairs. They spoke as they climbed, Sandi expressing that she didn't realize how serious the danger was.

Dennis adjusted the knitted beanie cap on his head. "We were all so grateful to hear that you're okay," he told Destiny.

She flashed him a smile. "Thank you, Mr. Graham."

"Mr. Graham?" he echoed. "That was my father's father. You can call me Dennis."

Her smile widened. "Thank you, Dennis."

"That goes for all of us," Oliver chimed in. "Aubrey was a mess when he thought you were..."

"Wouldn't even pick up the phone for the longest," Dennis said with a slow shake of his head. "I felt so helpless. My boy was going through it and there was nothing I could do to cheer him up."

"I was a mess without him too," Destiny admitted. "I haven't really even had the time to stop and process all we've been through. Neither of us have. We've been running and hiding and that has been our main focus. Running. Hiding."

    "And sexing," Dennis muttered.

Destiny gasped and looked away from him.

"Oh, shit, did I say that out loud?"

Oliver turned his back to the both of them and pretended to be busy with his phone.

"Shit, I'm sorry," Dennis apologized. "Thought I was thinking that."

Destiny drew in a breath and held it. "I'm...sorry you had to see that."

"The world can't blame you two kids for that," Dennis said with a wave of his hand. "My son thought you were gone, thought he'd never see you again. Something tells me you've had periods of time where you thought the same. Two people who are deeply in love were forced apart against their wills, and had the chance to come together again."

One of the FBI agents tried hiding his wheezing laughter.

"Phrasing," another agent muttered under his breath.

Destiny rolled her eyes heavenward. "Thank you for being understanding, Mr...Dennis."

"Maybe you and my son can work on some grandchildren now," Dennis said, stroking his chin.

Destiny froze, her eyes going empty.

"He's making me wait for forever for some grandchildren, barring the question mark of a child from that one woman..."

"Aubrey wants paternity tests," Oliver said, keeping his back turned to them.

"Of course he does," Dennis quipped. "He thinks the woman is trying to trap him, for crying out loud."

Increasingly uncomfortable, Destiny ran a hand through her hair.

"Just...work on some grandbabies for me," Dennis pleaded. "And for the love of God, don't record it when you do."

Destiny shook her head and covered her face with both hands.
