Chapter Ten

Anamika's pov :

I had my first class with Ro and Ish. As we waited for the professor, Ish turned to me and asked " What do you think about Sara being so secretive?".
" Honestly, I think it's about some guy. I mean spending time on makeup and wearing a new outfit...." I said. " Yeah and she has been spending an awfully lot of time on the phone nowadays" remarked Ishita.
" I hope she is not in some trouble," said Rohan. " Let's talk to her during lunch," I said. They agreed and we focused on class.
After attending so many lectures it was finally lunch time. I met everyone at our usual spot. I noticed that Sara was busy on her phone. " Sara, keep your phone aside and talk with us na," I said.
" Yeah, just a minute" she replied. Finally, she kept her phone aside. She had a different glow on her face. I decided that it was time to ask her. " Sara, what's going on?" I asked. "What?" she said nervously. " We know you are hiding something, maybe it's a guy," said Ishita.
" Yeah you have been acting very secretive " said Aditi. " Sara tell us what is going on" demanded Rohan.
" Ugh fine!" " So yeah it's about a guy. I met him on Insta a few weeks back and he is really sweet. We have been texting daily and I really like him. Today we are finally going to meet." she revealed.
" What an unknown guy" exclaimed Rohan. " Yeah but he is very sweet" Sara defended. " Okay Sara tell us about him," I said. " His name is Aman and he is 18. He is from Mumbai only and is studying in St.Xaviers" she said. Her eyes shined while talking about him.
" Show us his profile," said Ishita. Sara showed us his profile but it looked kinda fake. " Sara are you sure he is real?" asked Aditi. " Of course he is real, you guys should be happy but you are doubting me" she said angrily.
"Sara we are just trying to look out for you" I tried to explain. " No need, I can take care of myself," she said.
" Okay calm down we won't say anything just tell us about where are you going to meet him. So that if you need us, we can come to you" I said. " We are meeting at CCD at 6," she said. I nodded at her. " Now I am gonna go and get ready," she said. We bid her bye. I looked at my friends and said " Guys I am not sure about that guy, we have to go and keep a watch". Everyone agreed and we decided to keep a watch on Sara from a distance. We reached the cafe and sat at a distant table. " Look there is Sara" said Aditi. She was waiting for that guy. Suddenly an older guy came towards her, he looked around 26-27. He approached her and asked if she was Sara. Sara nodded at him and said, " Who are you?". " I am Aman, your date," he said.
" What! he is Aman" exclaimed Ishita shushed her and said, " Looks like our girl just got catfished". " Sara you idiot" facepalmed Rohan. " Guys look that guy is trying to force Sara to stay" exclaimed Aditi. We ran to help her. " Hey, back off," said Ishita. The guy looked at us and said " Who are you?". Sara came over to me and I hugged her. " It's better you leave her alone or I am gonna call the police "
warned Rohan. The guy went away uttering some curse words. Sara hugged us and said " Thank you for saving me guys " I am so sorry I didn't listen to you". " It's okay babe just listen to us next time" I said.  " And don't talk to random guys on social media," said Rohan. " Pakka promise" said Sara. We laughed at that. "Come on now let's treat you with some ice cream" said Aditi. We agreed and went to the ice cream shop.
