Today was the first day of finals and I was terrified. I took the blessings of my parents and went to the college. I met my friends who were equally terrified.
" Are you ready for the finals? " I asked.
" I guess so," said Ishita. " I really hope that I do well," said Aditi. " I am so nervous," said Sara. " Relax guys we will be fine " said Rohan. "What about you Annie? " asked Sara. "I am unsure if I am prepared enough" I replied. " Come on guys, it's time to go " said Aditi. We wished each other and went to our classes to give the exams.
After so many hours of studying and giving so many papers, it was the last paper. After this, we will no longer be in junior college. I gave the paper and met my friends in the college garden.
" How did the finals go guys? " I asked.
" It went pretty well," said Aditi. " It went good, just worried about the map," said Sara. " Same, I am sure about everything but the map," said Ishita. " Ehh I will pass " said Rohan. " Oh shut up! You downplay it now and then will top " said Ishita.
" Not my fault, you are dumb " replied Rohan and they began fighting.
" Guys enough! "I said. "What about you Annie?" asked Aditi. " Yeah it was good " I replied. " Guys, we are officially done with our finals " exclaimed Ishita.
" Yeah and tomorrow after graduation we will no longer be in junior college" exclaimed Sara. We cheered at that.
" So as we decided earlier, we will meet at my place and get ready for the graduation. After getting ready we will go to the graduation together in Rohan's car. And after graduation, we will go out somewhere." I said. Everyone agreed and we went to our homes. I met my parents and told them about the graduation.
The next day, my friends came over to get ready. We decided to wear similar dresses with slits and Rohan a formal shirt. I wore a black off-shoulder dress with a thigh slit. Ishita wore a red off-shoulder dress with a thigh slit. Sara wore a pink off-shoulder dress with a thigh slit. Aditi wore a lavender off-shoulder dress with a thigh slit. Rohan wore a white shirt and black jacket.
We went to the graduation with our families. We met each other's parents and sat down for the ceremony. All our names were announced, as we went up and got our certificates. After we had all got our certificates, we clicked some pictures to save this memorable day.
We threw our caps in the air to symbolize our graduation. I met my family as they congratulated me on my graduation. " Congratulations Annie, we are so proud of you " exclaimed Maa.
" Yeah, good job sweetheart," said Papa.
" Congratulations Annie, you are an adult now," said Bhai. I laughed and thanked them. " Btw Annie, we have a surprise for you," said Papa. " What??" I asked excitedly. " What do you say to a house party to celebrate your graduation?" asked Maa. " WHAT!! Are you serious ?" I exclaimed. " Well the arrangements at home say so," said Bhai. I hugged and thanked them. I went to my friends to tell them about it.
" Guys, party at my place right now! " I exclaimed.
