(A/N: I'm so sorry, I at first planned to write the episodes before this one but couldn't find the right motivation or how to write the dialogue and I just wanted to skip to this one because of the ending... and I had this pre written before the semester started months ago and you guys have been wanting an update so....)

It was nighttime at the Gwen and Pete's house, not a single eye was open as Evie slept peacefully in her little bed, cuddling with her new unicorn plush while her parents slept in their room. Pete had one arm wrapped around his wife, his hand resting on her pregnant belly as they both slept on their sides, sleeping soundly.

Until suddenly, Pete was jolted awake, sitting up to look down at his hand and Gwen's pregnant belly.

He felt a kick.

Even though he's felt Evie kicked many times while Gwen was pregnant the first time, it still shocks Pete that Gwen was pregnant again with another child of his. He smiled softly as he tried not to wake Gwen up by placing his hand back to where it was before, but he felt Gwen stir as she slowly woke up.

"Something wrong, honey?" She asked while yawning softly, rubbing her tired eyes while slowly turning to look at Pete.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to wake you. I just- I felt a baby kick. A strong one, that probably means it's a boy." He smirked at the idea while Gwen, while tired, looked at him with an offended look.

"What? You think women can't kick hard?"

Pete immediately shook his head, "No! No, of course that's not what I-OW!" Pete groaned in pain as Gwen smirked mischievously after kicking her husband in the knee under the sheets.

"See? It could still be a girl." Gwen stated before turning to the side to fall asleep again.

"Sorry. Just can't believe we're gonna have another baby. I'm excited for tomorrow's visit at the ultrasound, finally get to see if we're having another daughter or son." Pete ranted before yawning and ultimately wrapped his arm around his wife again and fell asleep with a faint smile on his sleeping face.

"Me too." Gwen quietly agreed with her eyes still closed as she smiled too before falling back to sleep.

The next morning, Gwen and Pete were making breakfast together while Evie sat happily at the kitchen table, swinging her little legs excitedly while chanting "Preschool! Preschool! Preschool!"

Today was also going to be Evie's first day at preschool, and it was obvious that the now four year old was over the moon.

"Yes, sweetie, you have daycare today!" Gwen smiled at her daughter's excitement as she made Evie French toast sticks, while she made Pete scrambled egg and some coffee. Gwen wasn't supposed to eat or drink anything within 6 hours of an ultrasound. Despite being hungry at the moment, Gwen was more excited to learn the gender of their new baby more.

"This is nice." Pete spoke with a smile, "I live for times like this. Where everything's not so hectic, like we're... just a normal family."

Gwen smiled, "If we were normal, we wouldn't be living in the ghetto where we sleep through gunshots and people screaming through the night. I'm amazed that Evie can sleep through them already for her age."
Pete just hummed as he and Evie continued to eat their breakfast and Gwen just enjoyed the peacefulness when suddenly a knock came from the front door. "I'll get it!"

Pete stood up from the table and went over to the front door to answer it. But once he opened it just a crack, he immediately closed it, or at least tried to as Frank already put his foot between the door to keep it open as he struggled to get in.

"Come on! Come on!" Frank repeatedly said, trying to get in while Pete was now pushing his back against the door to close it.

"No!"

"It's cold out there and I'm starving!"

"Get out!"

"Can I at least have something to eat and say "hi" to my granddaughter?" Frank questioned, struggling to get in as Gwen came over while they could hear Evie cheering for "Grampy Frank!" from the table.

"See? Kiddo wants to see her grandfather! Now let me in!" Frank was finally able to push through the door as Pete stumbled forward but caught himself as he straightens himself up as he glared at Frank as he walked towards the kitchen as Evie clamped and cheered for her "Grampy Frank."

"Fine! But you're only getting a piece of toast then you're out of here!" Gwen sneered as she quickly went over to the kitchen counter to get a paper plate and quickly made some toast while Frank ruffled Evie's short hair while she giggled.
