your string of lights is still bright to me.

Tyler got out of the car and made his way over to Jacey's side. He opened the door for her and helped her out of the vehicle. She smiled as he pulled her close. His hands were positioned on her hips, holding onto her tightly. She put her books on top of his car before wrapping her arms around his neck. "I'm gonna miss you," she told him, resting her forehead on his.

"Oh? Is that so?" He asked her with a smirk on his face, "How much?"

"So much," she told him while looking into his eyes. "What time do you get off?" She pouted, and he pecked her lips. There was no denying that she had grown attached to him even more so in the pass few days than she had in their whole relationship. Since her birthday, they had spent every day together, whether it be for an entire day, her simply seeing him for an hour, or her spending the night with him. They had become somewhat inseparable.

"Around 5:30."

"You should bring Kaylee and me Taco Bell when you get off," she suggested. She was simply finding a reason for him to come over after he got off.

"I'll see what I can do," he told her knowing that he would get her the Taco Bell anyway. He couldn't resist her and he knew it, "Go ahead, and go get your exam over with."

"Yeah, I should do that, huh?"  She got her books from the top of the car and looked him in the eyes before she kissed him. "Don't forget what I told you," she whispered.

He raised an eyebrow at her, "Told me about what?"

She tilted her head slightly to the left and gave him a disapproving look. How could he possibly forget that quickly? She had just told him before they pulled up to the school. "The condoms," she whispered.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. That." He retorted, remembering exactly what she had said: "This morning was the last time. I know, babe."

"K," she smiled and took one of his hands. "See you later," she gave him one last kiss before slowly pulling away from him. Before she got too far away from him, even before her hand left his, he noticed her shirt riding up in the back.

"You wanna pull your shirt down?" He asked, being a tad bit overprotective.

"Oh, okay, then, Daddy," she said with a smile. She took her free hand and pulled her shirt down.

"Nah, I'm just the boyfriend who doesn't want others to see what's his," he bit his bottom lip, and she let out a giggle. "Bye, I love you."

"Bye," she told him as he made his way to the other side of his car while she made her way up the school's steps.

"Oh my God, Jacey your boyfriend is so cute," she heard one of the girls who was standing at the foot of the steps say to her. She politely smiled as she continued to walk up the steps. She reached the top and spotted Abby standing where they usually did. She simply rolled her eyes and walked into the school building.

She hadn't spoken to her since the day after prom. To be honest, she didn't have too much to say. It had been five days since that day, and she was somewhat still in shock about what Abby had told her. She shook off the thought as she felt a set of arms wrap around her waist and a chin rest on her shoulder. She glanced over her shoulder and smiled, "Hey, Matt."
