back when i swore i was going to marry him someday | just stay this little.

"I love you." Tyler had pulled up to Abby's house about 10 minutes ago. She didn't want to get out of the car, and he sure didn't want to let her go. Their night and their morning together played back in both of their heads continuously.

"It feels good to be loved," she told him, smiling. "I think I'm going to go in now," she stated, leaning over to give him one last kiss. Opening the car door, she got her things from the backseat and got out of the car.

"I'll call you later," Jacey nodded and closed the car door. She slowly walked up the path to Abby's front door, glancing over her shoulder every so often, seeing that he was still sitting right there watching her. She smiled at him as she reached the door, knocking on the door and waiting for Abby to answer.

"Hey!" Abby exclaimed, opening the door. Jacey smiled, turned and waved at Tyler, and watched him finally pull off. "Little Love Birds. I love it," Jacey said as she walked into the home and headed straight to the stairs to make her way to Abby's room.

"Your parents haven't made it back yet?" Jacey asked, not bothering to greet her best friend properly. She really didn't need to.

"Nope, they sure haven't. Clearly, they trust me. I don't know why," Abby said with a laugh. Abby could be a devil, and Jacey knew it. They made it to Abby's room, and Danny's scent still lingered.

"You can still smell him," Jacey told her, shaking her head with a chuckle.

"Really?!" Abby asked frantically. Jacey nodded her head. She looked about the room, seeing her duffle bag in the corner. She walked over to it, took out something to change into, and placed her dress and heels into it. She made her way into the bathroom to change into her clothes and out of Tyler's. "How was your night with Tyler?" Abby asked through the door.

"It was amazing." By this time, she had slipped out of Tyler's clothes and into her own. She opened the bathroom door and went back into the bedroom. She coughed at the smell of incense burning. "You couldn't just spray air freshener," she asked, throwing Tyler's clothes into her duffle bag before plopping onto Abby's bed.

"We don't have any," Abby stated with a shrug. "I don't care. They'll be ok. They probably won't even notice," Abby walked into the bathroom, putting the incense out. Abby plopped down onto the beanbag chair that sat in the middle of the floor and looked at Jacey, "So ... what did you and Tyler do after prom?"

"We left, danced in the rain, then we went back to his place ... and, um," she paused and smiled at the thought.

"You had sex with him?" Abby asked, her face looking less than pleased.

Jacey raised an eyebrow at her, "Why'd you say it like that?"

"You're just so dumb sometimes," Abby told her bluntly.

"What?" Jacey sat up on the bed and stared at Abby as if she were insane.

"You have only been officially dating a day, Jacey. How are you just going to give him everything in a day?!"

"It's been a year and a few months!" Jacey couldn't believe her friend's words. It wasn't like she and Tyler had only been seeing each other for a month or something. They had been committed to each other for a year.
