i don't know how it gets better than this.

Sunday afternoon

Tyler and Jacey walked over to the elevator, hand in hand. The bellhop had taken their belongings up a few minutes before as Tyler got everything situated. The elevator doors opened, and two men stepped out. Jacey and Tyler entered the elevator, and Tyler pressed 7. The seven lit up, and the doors closed.

"Haven't completely awakened yet?" Tyler asked a silent Jacey.

"Hmm?" She responded.

"You haven't said much since the plane. Are you still sleepy or something?"

"I don't know. I'm just taking it all in, you know: the plane, first class, LA... well, what we've seen so far," she began, trying to figure out why she was so quiet. "AND my amazing boyfriend!" she added with excitement. Tyler let out a small chuckle at Jacey's cheesiness. The elevator doors opened, and they walked out.

"I think it is this way," Tyler stated while pointing.

"Well, duh... This nice sign says so," Jacey teased as she giggled. Tyler purposely bumped into her. "Hey," she exclaimed as her giggle turned into a laugh. Tyler had knocked her slightly off balance, so she attempted the same but succeeded in making herself more off balance. Tyler grabbed her with his other hand, stopping her from tripping herself. They both laughed and then began walking hand in hand again.

"Here it is," Tyler announced, then used the key to open the door. They walked in, and Jacey was amazed by the size of the room. There was a sitting area with a flat-screen television. In the sitting area was a mini fridge, mini bar, and sink. Through an archway off of the sitting area was a large sleeping area with a huge bed, two nightstands topped with lamps, a dresser, two closets, and a full-length mirror. Through another archway off of the bedroom was the bathroom. There were two sinks, a shower, a jacuzzi tub, and another closet that was stocked with towels, iron, soaps, and shampoos. Another large mirror was placed over the vanity area, there was a phone and hair dryer, and behind the door hung two white robes on hooks. Jacey had explored the entire suite before noticing Tyler was not in the bathroom with her. She walked out of the bathroom to see that he had switched shirts and jackets.

"Where are you going?" She asked him.

"Downstairs," he replied, watching her smile turn into a frown. "Don't worry, love. I'm just going to check myself into the conference. It shouldn't take long," he explained, knowing that he had crushed her momentarily.

"Mkaaayyy," she allowed the word to drag out of her lips. Jacey had looked forward to the time she and Tyler would share but forgot that she had to share him with his work.

"How about we go out tonight?" He suggested, hoping to make her feel better.

"It's fine. Go be all lawyer-like," she said, wishing he could stay but knowing his job came first.

"I should be like 30 minutes, and then you and I can do whatever you'd like," Tyler told her. He then kissed her lips and walked out of the room.
