can you feel this magic in the air?

Jacey eyes fluttered open and landed on the green numbers of Tyler's alarm clock. 8:49. She groaned and rolled over, ready to doze back off in to dreamland when her phone vibrated. Reaching onto the nightstand blindly, she picked up her phone and noticed the text message she had recently received from her grandmother.

"Heard from your mother you didn't come home last night. Good. Get out of that bed and go make that boy breakfast."

She rolled her eyes, putting her phone under the pillow before she cuddled back up to Tyler. She groaned a little, knowing that she had to get up anyway. Jacey slowly sat up and let her feet dangle off the edge of the bed before letting them touch the soft carpet. She stood up and stretched as she let out a small yawn. She picked up Tyler's shirt off the floor and slipped her arms through the sleeves before buttoning and rolling the sleeves back a few times. She leaned over the bed and grabbed her phone from under the pillow. She looked at him asleep and smiled before heading out of the room. She walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. She sat her phone on the counter and then began gathering what she needed to make breakfast. She made the batter for the French toast she was making and started dipping pieces of bread into it. Once she was done, she fried the pieces of bread, making such they were golden brown before she removed them and set them aside on a plate. As she fried the french toast, her phone began vibrating on the counter. She read Abby's name and pressed the speaker as she continued to cook.

"Good morning!" Abby and Kim said cheerfully in unison.

"Morning, why are you two so happy?" Jacey asked, moving the last piece of french toast to the plate.

"Oh we're just happy that our best friend is happy," Kim answered with a giggle.

"So, how was it? Tell us everything," Abby jumped straight into the conversation.

"There is nothing to tell," Jacey told them as she smiled.

"LIAR!" Abby exclaimed. "We all know you gave him the pussy last night. Unless you didn't, and you are still fighting."

"No, we're good. I'm making breakfast right now."

"Oh really?" Kim asked, remembering Taye-Alexandria's words about breakfast.

"Does he need it?" Abby questioned also recalling those words.

"I don't know if he NEEDS it, but he sure as hell DESERVES it," Jacey told them as the smile on her face widened.

"So spill it, girl, how was it?" Abby pried.

"It was the BEST SEX EVER!" Jacey told them as she thought of the night that lasted into the early morning.

"Really?" Kim asked.

"What do you expect? She had the boy hungry for two months. That pity sex they had in between didn't do anybody anything," Abby explained.

"Shut up," Jacey told Abby as she began cracking eggs into a bowl.

"What made it better? Did you guys use new condoms?" Kim asked.

"What condoms?" Jacey teased.

"You didn't use any?" Kim asked, shocked.
