something's gone terribly wrong.

"Thank you for flying with us; if you are visiting, enjoy your stay; if you are from here, welcome home." The pilot announced once the seat belt light faded and people began to move about gathering their things to exit the plane. Tyler removed his seat belt using the hand that Jacey wasn't holding on tightly to before she turned his body slightly and moved the curls that had fallen into her face and tucked them behind her ear.

"Hey." He spoke softly as he tried to wake her. He noticed Jimmy sitting next to her, looking at him and trying to wake her, a bit confused. Jacey responded slowly to Tyler's voice before her eyes opened. "Time to get going." She groaned, causing him to chuckle, before she removed her seat belt and letting his hand go. She stretched out in her seat a little before getting up from her seat. Tyler had already stood up, retrieved their items from the overhead compartment, and put them on his seat.

Jacey packed away Jimmy's playthings into the book bag they had gotten him the other day and put it onto his back before they walked out into the aisle to exit the plane. On the way out, one of the flight attendants handed Jimmy a lollipop, and he sweetly thanked her with a smile.

Jacey held Jimmy's hand as they made their way to the baggage claim area. She had yet to speak a word since Tyler had awakened her. "Are you okay?" he asked her, and she simply nodded. He pulled their bags off of the conveyor and raised the handles so that he could drag them both along. Once they had gotten outside, they got onto the shuttle bus that took them to the parking lot.

Once they located Tyler's car, he unlocked the doors and loaded the bags into the truck. "How does this work?" Tyler asked Jacey as he opened the back car door. Jacey, who had already gotten into the front seat, turned around and looked at him.

"You just seat it there, he sits on top of it, and you buckle him in. It's nothing special. Just to make the shoulder strap more secure." Jacey watched him nod his head and place the booster seat in place before Jimmy climbed into it. Tyler fastened his seat belt before walking to the other side of the car and got it. Tyler leaned over and kissed Jacey's cheek before starting the car and pulling out of the parking space. "You're going to make a great mother." He told her, causing her to blush a little.

"Aww, are you trying to make me a mother?" She asked as she slipped her hand into his as she always did.

"Maybe." He said with a smirk once he paid the teller and pulled out of the airport's parking lot. They held small conversations with each other and a few laughs until they noticed Jimmy had fallen asleep. Their conversation then turned into a whisper about the past few day's events and how they would end up telling people about Jimmy, especially his parents.

About 45 minutes later, they turned onto Tyler's street and noticed a number of police cars lining the road. As they got closer, they saw they were all congregating in Tyler's front yard. "What's with all the police cars?" Jacey asked as they pulled up to Tyler's house.

"I don't know," Tyler answered sluggishly, unsure of what to think. He pulled his car to the curb since his driveway was occupied by cop cars. He put the car in park, cut the engine, and got out. "Get the kid for me," he called to Jacey before closing his door. He walked up the pathway to the house as Jacey helped Jimmy out of his booster seat. Tyler noticed there were people in his home as he got closer to the door. He stopped short of his front door, took his cell phone out of his pocket, and dialed his lawyer's number. He didn't know what was going on, but there was no reason for the police to be in his home.
