back up, did you forget everything?
"Dump her," Lucas said as he got up from the couch.
"No, I'm not letting her go," Tyler argued as he followed Lucas into his kitchen.
"You have sacrificed a lot for this girl. You even put your career on hold for her," Lucas paused as he opened and scanned through Tyler's refrigerator. He reached in before beginning again, "The way I see it, she doesn't appreciate what you've already given up for her."
"Lucas, this is the girl, the woman I want to marry," Tyler defended as Lucas began taking supplies out.
"She didn't cook for you before she left?" Lucas asked.
"Yeah, she's just happy enough with the way things are right now to cook a meal for me," Tyler said sarcastically, leaning against the counter and letting out a sigh.
"Anyway...New plan...Call her a whore." Lucas took a plate from the cabinet and set it on the counter.
"I don't know why I even talk to you," Tyler said, shaking his head at his brother.
"Hear me out," Lucas pleaded with a slice of bread in his hand.
"Have you called Kim a whore?" Tyler asked, standing up straight and taking a few steps around the kitchen.
"No! She would kill me." Lucas began dressing the bread with meat, cheese, and other things.
"Exactly," Tyler exclaimed, pointing at Lucas. "So, I'm not calling Jacey one either." Tyler stuffed his hands in his pockets before leaning against the island.
"I'm just saying serve her a nice helping of act right and she will ACT RIGHT," Lucas argued, then took a bite out of a slice of pickle. He sat the pickle on his plate, before putting everything back.
"New topic," Tyler suggested with his head down.
"No, just listen," Lucas said, putting stuff into the fridge. "Ha! We both know you don't do that well." Lucas closed the door and walked over to his plate.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Tyler questioned with his eyebrows raised.
"You got any chips?" Tyler pointed to the pantry, and Lucas went over it. Lucas grabbed the bag of chips before going over to his plate, picking it up, and walking out of the kitchen. "Do you listen to Jacey? And don't lie, I know you don't. She probably asks you a bunch of different ways if you're listening to her," Lucas said looking back at Tyler. "Are you listening to me? Did you hear me? What did I just say?" Lucas retorted in a high-pitched voice, trying to mimic Jacey's, before going back to his normal speaking voice. "Grab my drink."
"She told you that?" Tyler asked as he picked up Lucas' drink and followed him back into the living room.
"She told Kim, and because I LISTEN to my baby girl, I know how to keep things together." Lucas opened the bag of chips before eating them.
"You have had all of TWO girlfriends and a bunch of fuck buddies, yet I'm supposed to take advice from you," Tyler told Lucas as he took his seat, then sat the drink on the coffee table.
"Don't hate because I've gotten more than you."
"I am no longer talking to you about this." Lucas shrugged before taking another bite of his pickle.
