An Explorers-branded helicopter lands near the scene of the battle, Spinel steps out and sees the Black Rayquaza still in fighting shape. "We've done allw e can," he said into an earpiece. "Best to retreat."

The Explorers Admins share a nod and rush to the helicopter. The airborne vechice takes to the sky and flies off. The Rising Volt Tacklers watch as the Brave Olivine begins to descend to the ground. Friede urgently calls Murdock, "Murdock, how's everything going over there?"

"We're going okay!" Murdock insisted, "Orla said i just need to keep the ship level and we should be able to make an emergency landing."

Sure enough, the airship safely lands nearby. Ludlow begins walking towards the airship, "I better lend them a hand, keep your focus on the Black Rayquaza!"

The Black Rayquaza lets out a loud roar, as if declaring a challenge to them. Friede smirks, "Alright, divide and conquer. Ash, Roy, you're riding with Charizard and me."

Charizard takes flight with the three trainers riding atop it. Leading Rayquaza towards the lighthouse, Cap finding an opening to create a vortex from Volt Tackle that launches Sprigatito and Dot's Quaxly into the air. The Black Rayquaza swats the two Pokemon away with its tail.

Dot put a hand to her chin, "I've got an idea, but we'll need to do that again."

Cap nods, creating another vortex from Volt tackle to send Sprigatito and Quaxly flying into the air once more. This time Quaxly uses Low Kick to boost Sprigatito further into the air, giving her an opening to hit Rayquaza with Magical Leaf. Fuecoco and Charizard then strike with Flamethrower and Pikachu strikes with Thunderbolt. The Black Rayquaza counters the attacks with Dragon Pulse, causing an explosion. Charizard flies closer toward the legendary Pokemon, using the smoke caused from the explosion as a cover. Pikachu surprises the Black Rayquaza and traps it in an Electroweb, allowing Fuecoco to strike it with Disarming Voice. The Black Rayquaza roars once more, clearing the smoke and sky to reveal a Draco Meteor. Charizard flies evasively to avoive the move, causing Fuecoco to fall. Dot has Quaxly cushion Fuecoco's fall by using Water Gun to slow down the fall. The Black Rayquaza uses Draco Meteor once more, knocking out Quaxly and forcing her to recall it. Terapagos looks up to see a meteor falling directly toward it. Liko instantly runs over and prepares to take the hit only for the meteor to be sliced in half. Liko looks over to see Amethio and Ceruledge standing before them.

"Oh great, he's here." Ash groaned as he saw Amethio from Charizard, "What's next, Team Rocket's gonna come back?"

"Maybe I'd be here sooner if Spinel had informed me about this." Amethio snapped back, "The Black Rayquaza shall be mine." Amethio reveals a Tera Orb and Terastallizes Ceruledge into a pure Ghost type.

"He's got a Tera Orb too?!" Ash exclaimed.

"That doesn't matter now." Friede said, "The Black Rayquaza is a mighty foe, it'll be better if we work together."

Ash nodded, "You're right."

Amethio scoffed, "Fine."

Charizard lands and the trainers diembark from it. Friede pulls out his Tera Orb and Terastallizes Charizard into a Dark type, Cerueldge strikes Rayquaza with multiple Phantom Forces, Charizard strikes with Tera Blast and Pikachu strikes with a powerful Thunderbolt. Liko, Roy and Dot look on in awe at the sheer power of three experienced trainers working together. The Pokemon begin to strike with their final attacks to defeat Rayquaza, only for it to fly into the sky and dive into them with Dragon Ascent. Pikachu, Ceruledge and Charizard fall to the ground with spirals in their eyes. Friede and Amethio recall their fallen Pokemon as Ash picks up Pikachu.

Ash sends out his Dipplin and orders a Rollout. Dipplin rolls up a makeshift ramp Friede makes, Dipplin gets to Rayquaza's level, only for it to coil around Dipplin with its long body. Rayquaza strikes it with Dragon Pulse. Dipplin falls to the ground with spirals in its eyes as As recalls it. Ash sends out his own Quaxly as a last resort. Cap creates another Volt Tackle vortex to send him into the air and strike the Black Rayquaza with Wing Attack. Rayquaza fires another Dragon Pulse and sends it plummeting into the water. Ash grows concerned when Quaxly doesn't resurface, he tries to recall Quaxly back into his Poke Ball, but the red beam doesn't bring anything back. Ash worries that he may have cuased his Pokemon to be lost at sea.
