Ash wakes up in his hotel room that he's staying in, recalling his meeting with Director Clavell
Flash back to the previous day, Director Clavell is leading Ash towards a secret room
Ash: Why are you taking me down here Director?
Calvell: You see, Ash, long ago Naranja Academy was once called Uva Academy, and our main color was purple, but when we rebranded, all that was thrown away, except...
Clavell shows Ash an old uniform, just like a Naranja Academy uniform, but with purple where Orange should be.
Clavell: This unofrm is the last item remaining of our Uva Academy days, and since you are the World Monarch, I'd like to offer this uniform to you.
Ash looks at the uniform in awe, cut back to present day, Ash wakes up his Pokemon and changes into his Uva Academy uniform, but he also wears his vest, signature hat, and the red and black shoes his mom gave him, before departing for Mesagoza

At the city's main square, Ash reunites with Liko, Roy and Dot, who are already wearing their Naranja Academy uniforms, with Liko wearing her Indigo Academy uniform. Terapagos peeks its head out of Liko's bag, and she explains that she decided to take it along to avoid leaving it alone in case someone noticed it. As they arrive in front of Naranja Academy, Roy insists on taking a group photo to commemorate the occasion. Though Dot requires some persuasion, the photo is eventually taken.
Ash, Liko, Roy, and Dot move on to the director's office, where they meet Clavell, the director of the academy, and Geeta, the chairwoman of the school board.
Clavell: So we meet again Master Ash, I see you've taken a likign to your exclusive uniform.
Ash: I have, it's pretty neat!
Geeta: I must say, It's both a surprise and an honor for the World Monarch to attend our Academy.
At Clavell's request, Geeta turns on a video showcasing the academy's Terastal Training course, which is a curriculum solely dedicated to teaching academy students from all around the world about the Terastal phenomenon, which is uniquely found in Paldea. This phenomenon is somehow linked to Terastal energy, which manifests itself in the form of crystals found around the region, which Liko also recalls seeing near her house, though many mysteries still surround it. Trainers are able to utilize this phenomenon with their Pokémon thanks to Tera Orbs, which are exclusively for Trainers permitted to use them by Paldea. Geeta presents Liko, Roy and Dot with their own Tera Orb, which they are happy to receive.
Clavell: I must ask, why do you wish to take this course?
Roy: I wanna challenge a strong pokemon!
Liko: There's a place I wanna find.
Dot: I wanna solve the mysteries of the world.
Ash: I wanna be a Pokemon Master, which means I have to befriend every Pokemon in the world! And That means I have to be the very best in battling! Like no one ever was!
