Delia Ketchum enters Ash's room, finding him wearing the new red-and-black shoes she had gotten him days before. Ash haphazardly stuffs the gloves embedded with his Key Stone, his Z-Power Ring and his Dynamax Band into his backpack before pulling the straps around his arms.
"Oh, hey mom!" Ash greeted his mother, "I'm about to head out on another journey! Don't know where I'm going, but know it's gonna be great!"
"Pika!" Pikachu seemed excited.
"Well, I might just have an idea for where you can go," Delia revealed, "This came in the mail for you."
Delia hands Ash a an envelope with the letters "ASH" in fancy cursive. Ash opens the envelope and begins to read it out-loud. "Dear Ash Ketchum, We would like to congratulate you on winning The World Coronation Series. We heard from your mother that you would like to be able to befriend all Pokemon, and we believe attending our academy will give you the ability to do so. And it would be an honor to have you. Please let us know of your decision, The Indigo Academy."
"The Indigo Academy?" Ash asks.
Delia nodded, "I wanted to help you now that you know what it means to be a Pokemon Master. So I gave the academy a call." Delia takes in Ash's outfit, "But you can't wear that at the academy."
Ash soon steps out of his closet wearing an all-brown uniform, "So this school's not like Professor Kukui's?"
"No, this school's more strict on what students can wear." Delia explained, "But I'm sure you'll still have a good time!" Delia then handed Ash his backpack, "But I did pack you some extra clothes when you're outside of class."
"Thanks mom!" Ash eagerly placed his backpack on his back, Pikachu hops onto Ash's shoulder as Ash stuffs his Rotom Phone into his pocket. Both trainer and Pokemon then burst out the door.
"There's a bus stop on Route 22! That bus should take you right to the academy!" Delia shouted to her soon as he ran out of sight, ready for a new adventure.
