Liko wakes up on the Brave Asagi with her partner, seeing that Ash is already awake and dressed, him and Pikachu waiting for her.
Liko: I can't believe the break's almost over.
Ash: It is? How are we supposed to go to school then?
Liko: I already informed our teacher that we're going to attend class online.
Ash: Oh, I wonder why a friend of mine didn't think of that?
Liko: What did your friend do?
Ash: He just told his teacher he'd come back to school on the day of a test.
Liko: Wow...
Liko then changes into her new traveling outfit, with Ash standing outside the door as to not see her.
Ash sees Liko.
Ash: Wow, you look amazing!
Liko: Aw, thanks Ash!
Pikachu: Pika Pika!
They hear some singing, so they go outside to investigate, finding the source coming from Fuecoco. Embarrassed, Fuecoco runs away.
Ash: Aw, I liked his singing.
they then head to the kitchen where they greet the Rising Volt Tacklers, who compliment Liko's outfit. Professor Friede tasks Ash and Liko with being the lookout.
Ash: Good, I don't want Team Rocket trying anything.
Liko: What happened to them being not important?
Ash: I didn't say they weren't annoying and didn't need to be stopped.
Liko continues writing notes on Sprigatito as the ship loses altitude, waking it up.
Ash: What was that?
Pikachu: Pika?
Friede is also shocked.
Friede: Orla, Is something wrong with the ship.
Orla: No, the engine is fine.
Spotting an island in the distance, Friede lands the ship there, launching two grappling hooks to the cliff sides.
As Liko feeds the Pokémon, Ash notices that Fuecoco is not with the rest of the Pokémon
Ash: Hey Murdock, do you have any idea where Fuecoco went?
Murdock: I found him trying to sneak food, so Rockruff told it off.
Orla: Murdock, I need your help.
Murdock Leaves as Ash goes over to Liko,
Ash: Liko, I think Fuecoco is missing.
Liko: Hmm, Maybe we can go ask Ludlow.
Ash: Good plan.
They then find Ludlow, who tells them that Fuecoco likes singing but stops as soon as someone spots it doing so. After learning from Mollie that it often played with Charizard on the deck, Ash and Liko go up there and finds claw marks, realizing that it had fallen off the ship.
Liko: Oh no, what should we do?!
Ash: We find him!
Ash sends out Pidgeot.
Ash: Pidgeot! Can you get us down onto the island?
Pidgeot: Pidgeot!
Ash and Pikachu get on Pidgeot, Liko and Sprigatito following.
Pidgeot flies off the deck and towards the island.
Pidgeot lands on the island and Ash returns her.
Ash and Liko start searching the island for Fuecoco, while doing so Liko and Sprigatito accidentally disturb a Pokémon group's nest, causing them to be attacked with String Shot, and they start getting chased.
Ash: Y'know this reminds me of my first day of a Pokemon trainer! With a flock of Spearow chasing me!
Liko: You're going through memory lane now?!
Ash: Yep!
Liko: Well how'd you stop them!
Ash: Oh yeah! Pikachu! Thunderbolt!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!!!!
Pikachu hits the wild Pokemon and stuns them as Ash and Liko run off
We then see Team Rocket, who just saw Ash and Liko leave.
Meowth: Say... Why don't we get those wild Pokemon on our side, that way.
Jessie: Wow, that's the first good idea you've had since Kalos.
Meowth: Hey!
In another area of the forest, Ash, Pikachu Liko and Sprigatito are searching when the wild Pokemon return.
Ash: Oh no.
James: Well, Well, Well.
Ash: Arceus why....
Jessie: What? Can't handle some little Pokemon, World Monarch?
Ash: I don't wanna hurt them, last time was self defense.
Liko: Um, I don't think they care.
Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet!
Liko's pendant begins to glow, surprising her.
Meowth: Oooo, shiny!
Jessie: The new trewpette's necklace must be special.
James: Pikachu and the necklace! What a treat!
Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet!
They all get distracted by Roy throwing rocks on trees, by the time Team Rocket look back to where they were, Ash and Liko are gone.
Ash: Thank goodness Fuecoco is okay.
Roy: Woah, aren't you the World Monarch?
Ash: Yep, that's me.
After a short introduction, Team Rocket and the angry mob returns. Liko has Sprigatito use Leafage, but the Pokémon are unfazed and use String Shot to ensnare them before Ash could react. As they are dragged away to the tree, Liko realizes that Fuecoco had angered them by eating their food stash.
Friede and his Pokémon then appear, surprised at the revelation. Charizard volunteers to help, but Friede stops it from doing so, as its fire would make the situation worse.
James: Well, another Pikachu!
Jessie: We could get double the fame if we give the boss two strong Pikachus!
Meowth: What a lucky day!
Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet!
Friede and Captain Pikachu improvise, using the Pokémons' String Shot to bind them. He then feeds them a berry each to calm them down.
James: What no! Don;t you want revenge!
Jessie: Weak! You're all weak!
Meowth: This don't look good,
Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet!
Ash: Wanna blast them off together?
Friede: Let's do it!
Ash: Use Thunderbolt!
Friede: Use Volt Tackle!
Pikachu and Captain Pikachu's combined attacks send Team Rocket flying.
Team Rocket: We're blasting off again!
Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet!
Untying the group, Roy is excited to meet a Pokémon Professor, though Ash and Liko are surprised he is one, but Ash is happy.
To apologize to the wild Pokémon, they restore their food stash by gathering more berries.
The group then parts ways.
Night falls on the airship as Ash and Liko are in their cabin.
Liko: I wonder why my pendant glowed again.
Ash: I don't know, but now Team Rocket knows about it, there's two evil teams searching for it, one more then the other, we gotta be more careful now, we don't know how far either The Explorers or Team Rocket will go.
Liko puts on a determined face.
Liko: Right.
