The Rising Volt Tacklers are all sitting down to eat at a restaurant. They congratulate Ash, Liko, Roy and Dot on passing their basics tests while Murdock cries lots of tears for Dot's performance in particular.
Dot: Get a grip, Uncle Murdock, the course isn't over yet.
Liko: Yeah, we can't let up now.
Ash: We won't guys! We'll beat the rest of the course with no issue!
Mollie and Orla tell the kids that they also should slow down and relax to have a good balance in life. Roy calls the waiter to get him another orange juice. Orla notices a smiling Liko.
Orla: Say, Liko? What's got you smiling?
Liko: Nothing, it just feels great for everyone to be back together.
Ash: Oh yeah! It's amazing that we're all here!
Orla: Well, by the time we get back, the ship should be airworthy again.
Friede: I'll be heading over to the Naranja Academy once the meal is over.
Dot: Why? The implementation tests don't start until tomorrow.
Friede: I made an appointment to see Geeta and Clavell.
Friede and the kids meet with Clavell and Geeta, the latter in particular being familiar with his work as a Pokémon Professor. Just as Geeta asks about Terapagos, said Pokémon pokes its head out of Liko's bag, shocking Geeta and Clavell.
Geeta: Where on earth did you find this Pokemon?!a
Liko: well, it first was a pendant, and my grandma gave it to me.
Ash: it's a weird story, we know.
Friede mentions sightings of Terapagos in Paldea through old records, hoping that Geeta would know something about them. Geeta brings up old sketches of Terapagos' forms on the screen. Liko recognizes the sketch on the right as Terapagos' Terastal form that it took on when protecting Liko from the Black Rayquaza.
Clavell: While no details of Terapagos have been recovered, it's said to be a Pokémon with a strong connection to Terastal phenomenon.
They turn to a photo of the Great Crater of Paldea.
Geeta: Well, a Pokémon resembling Terapagos was sighted in Area Zero, the deepest point of the crater in fact, which was recorded in the Scarlet Book.
Hearing this, Dot grabs the Scarlet Book from her bag and shows it to Clavell and Geeta. The latter skims through it and finds a sketch of what is thought to be a third form Terapagos can take.
Liko: Terapagos wants to go to a place called Laqua.
Geeta: Where?
Roy: It's a place that a ancient adventurer reached a hundred years ago!
From this, Geeta hypothesizes that solving the mysteries of Terapagos will help solve the mysteries of Laqua.
Ash: So how bout we just go to Area Zero head on!
Roy: Yeah!
Clavell: Well, entering will be incredibly difficult as there was an accident there.
Geeta: If we ever do go down to Area Zero, I'd be happy to accompany you.
Ash: Sweet!
She also points them to someone who may know of things from a hundred years ago.
At the library, Dot puts the Scarlet Book back in its place. Friede remarks how mysterious only lead them into even more mysterious begging to be uncovered. Ash, Roy and Dot notice Liko's look of unease, to which she admits that she doesn't really know anything about Terapagos. Roy disagrees, saying that she's learned a lot about its personality.
