What If Ash was in Pokemon Horizons?

The Pendant That Starts It All: Part Two

Liko looks around in the green sphere that surrounds both her and Ash before spotting a Pokemon shaped like the pendant floating in the air beside her. Ash pulls out his Rotom Phone and scans the mysterious Pokemon.

"No Data available."

Ash was taken aback, "What?"

The Pokemon transforms back into Liko's pendant and the sphere disappears, causing Ash and Liko to start falling once more before the man and his Charizard swoop in and catch them before flying off into the night.

"Why is so much happening in one night?!" Liko said in exasperated.

"That's just the adventure life!" Ash remarked.

Liko begins hyperventilating as she recalls the events of the night, "Are you okay?" Ash asked.

"I dunno," Liko admitted, "So much is going on."

"I've felt like that before," Ash comforted her, "On my first day as a trainer."

"Didn't you say you almost died that day?!" Liko said in a panic.

"Well, at least Pikachu likes me now." Ash said sheepishly.

"Excuse me, sir?" Liko called to the man on Charizard, "Can you drop us off?"

"No problem!" The man said, "We're almost there anyway!"

"Almost where?" Ash asked.

"The Brave Olivine," the man said. "Just gotta wait for the wing deck to go down."

Ash and Liko look ahead and see a gaint airship stands before them. A green area of the ship shaped like a battlefield descends and flattens as Charizard lands. Another muscular man and a pink-haired woman approach the trainers as Liko hides behind Ash, "Okay, what is going on here?" she questioned from afar, "Who are you people?!"

"Friede, did you seriously not tell them anything?" The second man scolded the man know known as Friede.

Friede chuckled sheepishly, "Did I not explain everything on the ride over here?"

"No, you didn't." Ash said bluntly.

"You couldn't even be bothered to fill in the World Monarch?!" The woman exclaimed.

"Wait, World Monarch?" Liko eyed Ash.

"You don't know?" The woman asked, "Ash defeated Leon a while ago, now he's the strongest trainer in the world."

"YOU'RE A CHAMPION-RANKED TRAINER?!" Liko shouted so loud that the Explorers may even hear her.

"Did I not tell you that before?" Ash asked.

The woman sighed, "Great, now there's two of them."

The man chuckled, "I'm Murdock, and that's Mollie. And you've already met Friede."

"We're the Rising Volt Tacklers." Friede explained. "We're a group of adventurers traveling thr world and doing jobs."

Two Pokemon unfamiliar to Ash run up and begin playing with Pikachu and Sprigatito. "But not all of our members are human, a lot of wild Pokemon have joined us on the ship over time." Friede explained.

"Who are these Pokemon?" Ash asked.

"They're from the Paldea region!" Liko revealed.

Ash perked up and pulled out his Rotom Phone before scanning both Pokemon. "Fuecoco, the Fire Croc Pokémon. A Fire type. The fire energy from its body makes the flame on its head ripple like waves. When its emotions run hot, the flames grow much bigger accordingly."
