What If Ash was in Pokemon Horizons?

The Pendant That Starts It All: Part Two

Liko finds herself surrounded by a green sphere of energy created by her pendant. Looking around, she spots a strange Pokémon floating in the air in front of her, Ash tries to use his Rotom Phone to try and figure what that Pokemon is.

Rotom: No Data available.

Ash: What?

After a few seconds, the Pokémon transforms back into her pendant and the sphere disappears, causing Liko and her Sprigatito to start falling, with Ash sprining to action to fly towards her to catch her. Fortunately, Friede and his Charizard save her in the nick of time.

Liko: Why is so much happening in one night?

Ash: That's just the adventure life!

Pikachu: Pika!

Friede: Looks like we'll have to continue our battle some other time.

Friede flies off on Charizard, Ash following closely behind on Pidgeot.

Behind them, Amethio, Zirc, and Onia call out a Corviknight and a pair of Skarmory to continue their pursuit.

Liko's initial rush of excitement wearing off, and she starts freaking out because of how many unexplained things have happened to her, including being saved by a man whom she doesn't even know yet, Ash sees this.

Ash: Hey, you okay?

Liko: I... don't know, so much is happening.

Ash: I've been there before, when I started my journey.

Liko: You mean the day you almost allowed yourself to die?

Ash: Hey, it worked, Pikachu likes me now.

Pikachu: Pika...

Pikachu is not amused

Liko: Yeah, I guess so.

Liko tries to ask for Friede to drop her off, only for them to start approaching a massive airship named Brave Olivine. A battlefield-like structure called the Wing Deck comes together at the back of the ship, allowing Charizard and Pidgeot to land.

Friede is approached by Murdock and Mollie.

Ash: Okay, can someone tell us what's going on?

Liko: Yeah, and who are you?

Murdock: Really? You didn't tell them?

Mollie: You didn't even fill in the Monarch?

Liko: Monarch?

Mollie: Yeah, Ash is the strongest trainer in the world.

Liko: You are?!

Ash: Hehe, yeah, did I not tell you?

Liko: No!

Ash: Well now you know

They're then approached by a Fuecoco and a Pawmi.

Ash: Who are those Pokemon?

Liko: They're from the Pladea region.

Ash: Awesome!

Murdock: These Pokémon settled down with us during our travels, along with a group of other Pokémon from other regions.

Ash: Awesome! Hey Liko, maybe they aren't bad guys!

Liko: Maybe they aren't.

Pikachu, Pidgeot and Sprigatito start playing with the other Pokemon, which both trainers find cute.

Ash realizes there's still one Pokemon in his party that isn't out of his ball.

Ash: Quaxly, come on out!
