Looking at the burnt-down  around them, Ash, Liko and Roy and  understand the dire situation the forest is in.

Mollie: The Arboliva uses its nutrients to heal injured Pokémon like a doctor, but with the forest being so badly damaged, there's only so much it can do, which will inevitably lead to more Pokémon ending up like Wooper.

Liko: We're going to replant the forest!

Ash: Good idea!

Liko and Mollie start gathering Berries, while Roy has Fuecoco plow the ground with Stomping Tantrum and he himself clears out rocks and burnt-down tree parts, Ash has Pikachu Iron tail any dead trees.

The gathered Berries are then planted, and Ash has Quaxly use Water Gun on the berries, but growth is kinda slow.

Liko gets a phone call from Friede, and she explains the situation.

Soon, Friede meets up with Liko, Ash, Roy, and Mollie, followed by Orla and Ludlow. Ludlow pulls out a Dive Ball and calls out his Quagsire, whose Rain Dance helps to dampen the dry soil. Once the rain has ended, Arboliva uses its Seed Sower Ability to make the planted Berries grow into new trees. The restored trees allow the Pokémon that had fled the fire to return, much to Liko, Ash and Roy's pleasure.

Suddenly, Liko's pendant starts to glow and transforms into a mysterious Pokémon. Arboliva reacts to the Pokémon's presence by creating a big ball of light and surrounding Liko, Ash and Roy with it.

Inside the ball of light, Liko, Ash and Roy find themselves in the middle of a thick mist. A silhouetted figure speaks to them from amidst the mist, but can't finish his sentence before the mist lifts and the three trainers return to reality, the mysterious Pokémon transforming back into Liko's pendant in the process.

The group barely have time to process this before Arboliva's Ancient  starts glowing and it suddenly  itself into it. Taking this as a sign of Arboliva wanting to come with them.

Friede: Ash, Liko, Roy, think you three can look after the ball?

Roy: Yeah!

Liko: Yep!

Ash: We got this!

The team return to the airship.

Later, Liko shows Ash and Roy some picture books her father had given to Roy to read.

Roy: Wait, the story about the ancient adventurer is the same story my grandpa told me!

Ash: What?!

Liko, Ash and Roy read the story from the book: a hundred years ago, there was an adventurer who, accompanied by the Black Rayquaza, befriended five strong Pokémon. Together, the adventurer and these six Pokémon traveled from region to region, until they found a place simply called "paradise." The man, with his Pokémon friends, had gone on to settle down and live there, becoming forever known as the "ancient adventurer."

Roy: One of the Pokemon must be Rayquaza, and the other must be Arboliva.

Ash: But that means theres still four more of those Poke Balls out there!

Liko decides to call her dad to get some answers, and he says that the stories were inspired by her grandma, and he believes the story is fiction, but Ash and Roy still think the story is real, given their encounters with the Black Rayquaza and Arboliva.

Later, the Rising Volt Tacklers gather in a meeting, sharing what Friede learned.

Friede: Liko, what do you think we should do?

Liko: I want to go meet my grandmother.

Roy: Okay! That means we can find out more about the acient Poke Balls and the ancient adventurer!

Ash: FIne by me!

Liko: But she travels the world, so I don't know where she is.

Friede: Due to some evidence I found, I think she might be in Galar.

The group agrees to head to Galar next.

Roy: Say Ash, isn't Galar the region where you became World Monarch?

Ash: Oh yeah! Why do you ask?

Liko: Won't that mean you'll be swarmed by fan?

Ash: Oh yeah...... Don't worry I'm sure I won't draw attention to us!
