Lilith's pov

Kadence and Lily were in the kitchen making lunch. We had a half day at school and Lily has today off from work. My ears pick up onto another heartbeat.

"Either of you expecting anyone?" I asked. Kadence and Lily shook their heads. A knock on the door caused Kadence to look at me.

"I'll get it," Kadence says as she dried her hands before walking out of the kitchen. I hear the door open. "I think it's for you, Lilith," Kadence says. Lily looks at me. I shrug my shoulders before walking out of the kitchen and to the door. A familiar scent entered my nose. My eyes widened when Xyla was invited in by Kadence. Xyla's black hair and red dyed tips ended around her breast. Her eyes were closed since Fae and I took her eyes. Xyla was the Devil's daughter.

Kadence led her to the kitchen with me following. Kadence sent me a look when I raised an eyebrow at her. I roll my eyes.

"Zazzeran and Fae's mother is dying," Xyla says. I take a breath before releasing it.

"I didn't know you did home visits above your world," I mutter. Xyla made a face.

"I don't but Zazzeran was a friend before he got in with the chained. His mother wants to see them before she passes," Xyla says. Kadence and Lily look at me. The only way for a demon to die is if they make a deal with the devil himself and don't hold up their end of the deal.

"I don't see why you're here," I say before biting my lip to keep myself from laughing.

"Now is not the time for that," Xyla grumbled while crossing her arms over her chest. "Because I have nothing against you but Fae I do." Kadence and Lily raise a questioning eyebrow at me.

"Didn't she take your eye and hand?" Lily asked. Xyla and I laugh together.

"Look..." Xyla says, causing me to chuckle. Xyla hit me in the stomach.

"Ow, alright damn," I mutter moving away.

"I knew what I was getting myself into with Lilith and Brezin. It was a deal I made going into the game. Fae snuck in and took my other eye," Xyla says.

"Why didn't you go to Zazzeran with this news? Fae hasn't been stuck to his side since she got here," I say.

"Because my father says Fae could return if I get my eyes back. Knowing you and Fae you already played her for them. You have them. I'd rather tell Fae and Zazz when they can come back instead of when they can't," Xyla says. I clench my jaw. Kadence looked at me. "My dad has given you until 6 and the deal is off the table," Xyla says before walking over to me. Xyla leaned her face into mine. Her lips brushed my ear. "Let them see their mom before it's too late," Xyla whispered. She pulled away before kissing my cheek. I stepped away from her. Xyla steps away. I grab her wrist stopping her from leaving.

"You get the one Fae took. You get the other back if you beat me. Same game as last time," I say. Xyla grimaced before swallowing loudly.

"Deal," she says. "To make it fair your eyes will be closed," Xyla says.

"Fine. make a noise and you don't get both eyes. Understood?" I asked. Xyla nodded. I let her wrist go. I walk into the kitchen further. I grab all the knives. Lily and Kadence looked at me with wide eyes. "I'll replace these," I say before shoving Xyla forward. I led her to the back yard. Kadence and Lily rushed behind me.

"What are you going to do?" Kadence asked.

"I would go back inside if I were you," Xyla says. Kadence looked at me. I shift my eyes away from her.

"It's not too bad but you both won't like it," I say.

"You first," Xyla says. I take a deep breath before removing my shirt. I stood in front of Xyla. "eyes closed,"

"I'm straight in front of you," I say. My body tensed when a knife hit my leg. I hear Kadence make noise. Another knife hit me in the stomach. One whizzed past my ear, cutting it slightly. A few more knives hit me before Xyla says she was done. I opened my eyes. I had seven knives in my body.

"Out of ten knives, how many did I get in? You gave no indication of a hit, not even a breath of air," Xyla says.

"Seven," I say before removing the knives with small groans of pain. Xyla nods before taking her shirt off. I look at the scar from last time before smirking. "Adding more scars to that body could be the highlight of my day," I mutter. Xyla shook her head.

"Don't get too cocky. You won't have your eyes to see," Xyla says. I collect the rest of the knives from the ground. My vision went black when Xyla put a shirt over my eyes before tying it in the back. "I can't trust you not to cheat."

"I won't need my eyes to pelt you a good one," I say.

"I'm right in front of you," Xyla says. I hear Kadence hold her breath from behind me. I quickly throw the knives and I hear them all peirce Xyla's skin.

"Time," I say quickly. I take the shirt off my head. I look at Xyla's body. Two knives in her left leg. One in her right leg. Seven in her stomach. Xyla stayed silent. I narrowed my eyes on her. "I called it all ready," I say. Xyla's jaw clenched. I link Zazz to bring Rune and Fae here.

"Fuck!" Xyla shouted. She clutched one of the knives. "All ten?" she asked.

"Yes," I mutter before walking over to her. "You good?" I asked. Xyla falls to her knees.

"Ow," Xyla mutters before falling onto her back. "Just let me lay here," she says.

"Are you sure you are good?" I asked.

"I was fine last time, I'll be fine this time," Xyla muttered painfully.

"Last time I only got one knife in before you made a noise."

"Shut up. The least you could do is leave me to be in pain in peace," Xyla says. I chuckle before shaking my head.

"You know if you weren't the devil's daughter I feel we could have been great friends," I mutter.

"You mean if you didn't sleep with me take my eyes and hand then got banished we could have been friends?" Xyla asked. I snorted. Kadence had a frown on her face. I wrap my arm around Kadence's waist before pulling her into me. Zazz, Fae and Rune walk over to us.

"No, I could do all those and still be friends with someone but you do everything your father says. No matter what he asked. I can't be friends with a pushover," I say. Xyla pushed herself up from the ground. Rune takes the knives out of Xyla. Zazz hands me the jar.

"Do I get my hand back?" Xyla asked.

"Yes," Kadence says. I tightened my arms around Kadence before burying my face into her neck. I place a kiss on her neck. "Don't even think about it," Kadence said when I went to lick her mark. I let out a groan when she moved away from me slightly.

"Wow," Xyla says. I looked at her and Rune already attached her eyes and hand. "Now that I can see again." Xyla's wings came out. My mouth dropped open when I see the chains on her wings.

"Shit, how did your father take that?" I asked. Xyla made a face.

"He doesn't know yet. I figured after Zazz and Fae come back here then I will tell him," Xyla says. I nod my head.

"Right well, this is Kadence and her mom Lily. That is Rune. Everyone this is Xyla," I muttered.
