Lilith's pov
Kadence followed behind me. She barely let me be away from her more than a few feet. I walk into the kitchen. Lily was making eggs, Bacon, hash browns, and toast. I stop next to the fridge and Kadence runs into me.
"Kadence, love. I love you more than anything but you're starting to annoy me," I mutter. Lily looks at me with a raised eyebrow. I turn around and face Kadence. She had a frown on her face. I lean into her. "You don't have to be my shadow. I'm more than happy to carry you around with me. You crashing into me everytime I stop needs to quit happening," I say. Kadence looked at me. "I'm not leaving you again." I peck her lips. I lifted Kadence up and she wrapped her legs around my waist. Kadence clutched onto me. I rub Kadence's back. Lily watched me, causing me to smile at her. Kadence's head laid on my shoulder.
"Now that you're listening. Let's set some boundaries. Bathroom privacy and one day off," I mutter. Kadence bit my neck causing me to tighten my arms around her. "Mm, I was joking," I laugh. Kadence licked my neck causing me to inhale sharply. Lily's eyes widened before she looked away. Her lips were pursed. My eyes were definitely both black. "We'll be back," I mutter to Lily before rushing out of the room.
Kadence nipped at my neck with her teeth. My stomach tightens and I moan. Kadence chuckles before her warm tongue slides across my jawline.
"Fucking hell, Kadence. Aren't you the one who tells me not to do this in front of your mom?" I asked slamming the bedroom door shut and lock it.
"Yes I was trying to understand your obsession with doing it. I'm starting to understand. I fucking love it. You tried to suppress that moan in front of her but failed," Kadence mutters. She connects our lips.
"The only difference is I love the smell that follows after I turn you on. You don't get that satisfaction to smell my arousal," I say. Kadence chuckled before she placed her feet on the ground.
"Not yet," she smirks before pushing me back onto the bed. A smile crept onto my lips as Kadence sat on my stomach. My hands held her hips. Kadence dragged her tongue up the front of my throat slowly before she connected our lips.

After spending a few hours in the room with Kadence we finally showered and went back down. Lily was at the table when we walked into the kitchen. She had a laptop in front of her as she typed. There was a sandwich on the table next to the laptop. There were a few bites taken from it.
"Your breakfast is in the fridge if you are hungry," Lily says, shaking her head. I let out a chuckle as I sat down in front of Lily. I watch her. She slowly looked up at me. Her eyebrow raised. Cadell walked into the house and into the kitchen.
"Out of curiosity how well do the soundproof rooms work?" I asked. Kadence turned to look at me with a glare.
"Extremely well," Lily mutters. Her eyes shift to the laptop as her nose scrunches up.
"These are from Rune," Cadell says, tossing me a blood bag. He puts the rest in the fridge.
"What is it?" I asked. Kadence sat down next to me. She looks at the bag then at me.
"It looks like blood to me," Kadence mutters, causing me to smile. I chuckle while nodding my head.
"I know it's blood, Kadence. What did it come from?" I asked.
"Rune said you would know what it's from once you taste it," Cadell shrugged. I look at the bag before turning it around. Cadell handed me a straw. I placed it into the bag. I take a drink before freezing. Cadell looked at me. His eyes widened. He wrapped his hand around Lily's wrist before pulling her up and putting her behind him. My hand clenched causing the blood to squeeze out of the bag. Kadence jumped away.
"What the hell Cadell!?" I shout.
"I must have mixed them up," Cadell mutters. I shake my head.
"Human blood, Cadell. You know what happened the last time I had human blood. I killed the feeders! One thousand feeders. You should get your beloved out of here right now. I am fighting so damn hard to not drain her right now," I grit. Cadell left with Lily. Kadence looked at me.
"You want me to get rid of the other blood bags?" Kadence asked. I nod my head. She went to the fridge and gathered the remaining bags. She tossed me one. "It's a different color than the rest," she says. I sink my fangs into the bag. Mountain lion blood. It took away the urge to have human blood. I walk over to Kadence. She was dumping the blood down the drain. The sink was running and washing the blood away. My arms wrapped around Kadence. She tilted her head to the side.
A smile forms on my lips. I trail kisses up her neck. I kiss her jaw before leaning my head against hers.
"The amount of trust you have with me right now has me falling deeper in love with you," I say. Kadence turned her head and smiled at me.
"You're my beloved. I wouldn't really love you if I didn't trust you. Besides if you wanted my blood you would have drank it by now," Kadence says. I chuckle and nibble on her ear lightly.
"When I leave empty bites on you is when I have your blood. That little amount that drips from your neck before my saliva closes your wound is my dessert. You get dessert every once in a while and only a small amount," I muttered.
"But it doesn't cause you to want more?" Kadence asked. My arms tighten around her.
"No, I don't know why. It just made sense that everything about you calms me including the little bit of blood of yours I taste. I don't crave human blood after I taste yours like I would if it was another human's blood," I say. Kadence nods her head. "I love you, my Heart,"
"I love you, my Void," Kadence says with a smile.
