Lilith's pov

Kadence and I were officially queens. We were celebrating with our townspeople. My arms wrapped around Kadence. My front pressed into her back. I kiss her cheek. Kadence played with my fingers.

"Mm, you know what we should do?" I asked. Kadence chuckled before glancing at me.

"We are not sneaking away to have sex in the throne room," Kadence says.

"The way you know me so well is a definite turn on," I mutter. Lily choked on her drink. I chuckle as I kiss Kadence's jaw. "But I have to walk away from you right now," I say. Kadence laughs lightly as I let her go. I walk over to Zazz.

"Have you seen Talon?" I asked. Zazz looked at me.

"I assume in his room. He and Fae got into a huge fight over the birds and she rejected him. She left. I'm sorry about your ravens. I don't know what has gotten into my sister," Zazz says. I place my hand on his arm.

"It has nothing to do with you Zazz so don't let it bother you too much, Alright," I say. Zazz nods his head. I walk back over to Kadence. "I'm going to check on my cousin. You can join me if you want. Or you can come with me to the castle to rest. We've been celebrating all day. The townspeople love a party and will keep it going whether we are here or not," I say.

"I'll head back later," Kadence says. I nod my head. My hand tilts Kadence's head up. I kiss her lips before pulling back.

"You look stunning in that crown, my queen," I say. Kadence smiled at me.

"I thought it was my love?" Kadence asked. I step away from her.

"Sorry, there is only one love in my life at the moment," I say, holding my arm out straight. Love flies over and lands on my arm. I point at the bird. The bird croaks. Kadence laughs while shaking her head.

"You really have those birds trained don't you?" Kadence says. My smile falls.

"Yeah I did... There is still hope for the last remaining 6. I will find them," I say. Kadence nods her head. My wings come out and Love readies her wings by stretching them out behind her. I give her a short whistle before we both fly away.

Love and I fly to the castle. When I land and put my wings away Love lands on my shoulder. My feet carry me to Talon's room. I knock on the door. When I don't get an answer I push the door open. Talon laid on his bed staring up at the ceiling.

"How are you doing?" I asked. Talon looked at me. He sat up and shrugged.

"Kinda grateful to not have Fae as my beloved anymore. Turns out she did hunt down the ravens when she found out about you becoming queen. She was only with me to become queen. She was also behind the attack on Cadence at the party a month or so ago. She beat me to it first by rejecting me before I could. I'm glad I didn't mark her. She was using me. I'm Extremely sorry about your ravens, Lilith. I know how much they meant to you," Talon says. Tears falling down his face. My chest tightened. Tears well up in my eyes but I blink them away.

"I'm sorry she used you but it was better to find out now before you marked and mated with her. My ravens will always be in my memories. They were all I had when you and Griffin left and then I messed up with Rune. But I have you guys back now and I don't want you to feel bad for what she did. I still have hope that my 6 ravens are still alive. They have to be. Just having love isn't the same. Now she is alone," I say. The tears finally fell from my eyes. I take a deep breath and wipe the tears away. "I am going to go, I'll see you later," I say before leaving the room. As I walked down the stairs the palace door opened. Akiran, Cadell, Kadence, Lily, and my mom holding Zander walk into the castle.
