Lilith's pov

After arguing with Xyla about what her father wanted done with the souls I went back to the Angels. I don't know why but I was drawn to them. It was like I was missing something. An important fact that was right under my nose. My head kept tingling with information but it was fuzzy. Something to do with Talon. But what does he have to do with Angels?

Akiran finally went home after talking with Adimus' daughter. I think he said her name was Lavina. Her eyes were white and hard to miss that she was related to Adimus. She practically glowed. Looking all high and mighty. She probably only looked like that because her height was an advantage for her. She was quite tall for a woman.

"Lilith what are you doing?" Kaylen asked. She stood next to me. Yet she was clueless to what I could see. I grabbed her wrist. Kaylen's head whipped towards me quickly. Her body tensed. I try to push my power towards her.

"Can you see them now?"

"Lilith, there is noth-" Kaylen stopped talking when she looked back at the angels. Her mouth dropped open.

"Holy moly," she mutters. "Lilith you had me worried but now I know you aren't seeing things. So these are angels?" Kaylen mutters. I nod my head.

"Yep. I can't walk away until I figure out how they are connected to Talon," I mutter. Kaylen looked at me.

"What if they aren't connected but only one is. A mate perhaps?"

My eyes widened. An angel mate for a vampire. That is different. I guess it would be different if Talon was a human blood kind of vampire. But he isn't.

"Goodluck finding which one is his mate. I gotta help identify the bodies we just collected and tell the families."

"Good luck to you as well," I say while letting her wrist go. Kaylen moves out of the circle. There weren't any more pack members around. The angels were calming down the souls who were freaked out over being dead. So how do I find out what Angel is Talon's mate? "Touch them and see if the tingling stops," Brezin suggested.

I walk around poking the angels. Which caused a few to jump away with a shout. It wasn't like I was lightly poking them. I jabbed them as I walked by. My eyes widen when the angels start to disappear with the souls through a glowing portal. I only had a few more angels. An angel I didn't touch went to step through the portal causing me to tackle them. The woman shouted out with wide eyes. I roll off her and walk away. That was not the one.

"You're harassing everyone," Amaris says. I turn towards her with a raised eyebrow. The tingle went away. Brezin starts laughing. Seems there was no need to stab everyone with my finger. Brezin shifts before hitting Amaris causing her to collapse unconscious from the powerful hit. Seems like we're kidnapping her. I flew to my father's place. After grabbing some rope Brezin ties the woman up. Including her wings.

Brezin shifts back causing me to groan. What the hell am I going to do with her? If I bring her home Talon will smell her and question why she was tied up like she was about to be murdered. I haul the woman over my shoulder and head towards Ryland's house.

Kadence and Kayla were watching a movie in the living room when I walked in. The smell of pizza lingered in the air. As I stepped into the room Kadence and Kayla looked at me. I toss the woman onto the unoccupied couch. Kadence and Kayla were both lounging on the larger couch.

"Uh," Kayla says.

"Is there still pizza?" I asked. They stare at me without replying. Fine, I'll go check for myself. There were three and a half pizzas. I take a slice before stepping out into the living room.
