𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐳𝐞𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 (𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐱 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫) 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞!

Chapter 3- The Radio

Y/N POV:

As you and alastor were walking, there was a lot of stares. You felt uneasy but Alastor held his head up high with a proud smile.

You didn't like the attention and was getting jealous looks from some women. You just wanted to leave and go home.

Alastors POV:

I'm used to getting looks, I am Alastor the radio host. But as I looked down at y/n she seemed uneasy. I'm guessing she's not a fan of peoples stares.

To be honest, I'm regretting my decision to take her to buy her a radio but I felt annoyed that she didn't know who I was. People will be asking questions and of course I love the attention but it gets annoying after a while.

As we entered the shop I held the door open for y/n, she stepped inside looking at everything her eyes darted to one item to the next. I must admit she is very entertaining but I must not get attached. I've made that mistake before, at the time it was stressful to manage but my truth revealed itself eventually. Surprisingly she didn't care much. It's nice having my friend Mimzy but the amount of stress it put on me to keep the secret from her was too much and I don't want to go through that again.

Shaking my head lightly. I stopped my thoughts and I snapped back to reality.

"You can pick out whatever one you want dear, don't worry about the cost" I told her.

She looked up at me and nodded with an exited look on her face.

She picked out a beautifully made carved out wooden radio.

"May I get this one, please" she asked with a kind smile.

"Of course, what a great choice!" I replied and walked over to the cashier.

"My gosh! Alastor is that you?! And who's this lovely lady? Is she your partner?" The cashier asked with an exited, surprised look on his face.

"Yes that is my name and no she is not. I'm just here to buy her a radio." I replied bluntly but still wearing my smile.

He nodded and I handed him the money and we left the shop.

Y/n POV

"Thank you Alastor." You gave him a sweet smile.

"You're welcome dear, I suggest you head home before it gets too dark. It's been a pleasure meeting you and I will become an early daily customer of that cafe." Alastor said as he returned the smile.

"I'll see you tomorrow Alastor. Thank you again for the radio I'll take good care of it!" You said as you parted ways and waved goodbye.

As you started to walk home an eerie feeling washed over you. It was quickly getting dark and you were only a few minutes away from home.

You heard footsteps coming from behind you.

Tip tap tip tap

You turned around and saw a silhouette of person. You held the radio tightly and your eyes started welling up.

You were scared, You picked up your speed not wanting to look behind you.

The footsteps suddenly stopped and you finally made it to the apartments.

You panicly got out your keys and tried to open your door but your hands were shaking.

Click...click...click click click

The door finally opened you slammed it shut and felt your breaths getting heavier as you leaned your back against the closed door. Sliding down, you reached your hand to your chest and tears came pouring out. You closed your eyes and remembered your mother's words.

Remember y/n when you feel like this just concentrate on your breaths. Steady your breathing. Focus on your surroundings. You are not alone. I'm here y/n. You are loved. You are safe. What you are feeling is scary but it's not dangerous. I'm right here y/n, I'm here. It's okay.

"But your not here mother. You left me and ignored me... I miss you so much. I miss you so so so much" you said quietly through shattered breaths.

"I'm sorry I'm so so sorry" you said as you put your arms over your legs and curled up into a ball. You started feeling tired and you didn't bother to get changed. You made sure your door was locked and curled up tightly in your bed covers your chest felt tight but you eventually fell asleep.
