Y/N POV:

~one week time skip~

Everyday was like the other. You got up, had a conversation with alastor at breakfast. He left, went to the radio station and you were alone for the whole day. Until he returned, of course.

Your relationship with Alastor was getting better and you were beginning to calm down a bit but everything was still kinda awkward after that evening dance.

You were bored and running out of things to do around the house to pass the time before he returned.
You've read so many books you practically knew the whole library off by heart.
You decided to go into the office. You noticed an empty piece of paper so you doodled some things from around the house.

(A/N I know my drawing skills are impeccable lmao also I actually do paint so I'll put my most recent painting at the end of this chapter in my        A/N <3 )

You leaned back in the chair staring out the large window.
You haven't noticed before but the Forrest surrounding you was beautiful.

I wonder if the window is open?

You flipped the latch up.

Yes!

You climbed out the window carefully and sat down on a patch of dried grass.
Your legs were crossed and your hands were placed on your lap. You took a deep breath in and out and closed your eyes.

The breeze was slowly drifting through your hair. It smelled like earthy scents of damp woodland. You heard a slight twinkle of water droplets falling down on leaves. As you continued to listen to your surroundings you could hear small croaks of frogs and a slight crinkle of branches being lifted by the wind.

Alastors POV:

I arrived back earlier then usual, the news was slow and dull today.

"Ive returned a bit early today y/n!" I called out for y/n but there was no reply or sound.

I looked around the house entering every room calling her name, each time a bit louder than before.

"Y/n??"

I peered into my office and noticed the window was wide open and there was a small sheet of doddles on my desk.

I do not look like that.

I walked over to the window and leaned out.
