Chapter 24- Follow

(~time skip for those who didn't read the last chapter~)

Y/N POV:

As you laid down in bed close to Alastor you felt his heart beating against your back. You took a deep breath he squeezed you tighter and you started to trace little circles on his hand.

"Is everything okay?" He asked snuggling into your neck.

"You are everything to me, The past few months have been like a roller coaster but having you is all worth it..." you rolled around and looked up into his chestnut colored eyes.

"I love you so much Alastor and I fear you might leave me someday, I don't know what to do without you if you do... I just want you to know that no matter what I will never stop loving you." You sniffled and his hand cupped your cheek.

"Y/N from the moment I kissed you I thought, No I knew... you would be the death of me... and I will let you. I would kill and die for you chère. You have my whole heart" He said and smiled down at you.

"Oh alastor" You said through muffled cries.

This was perfect. Everything was perfect now.

~time skip to late morning~

Today, you and Alastor planned to get all new clothes and other things. You had to wear some of alastors clothes. Unfortunately, if women wore trousers or any 'manly' clothes it was looked down upon and having. Alastor as your partner as well would increase the stares.

Alastor knew this and wanted to make sure the first shop you entered was a woman's clothes store to quickly change into something more feminine and acceptable to society. You prepared yourself for the day and hopped into his car.

Alastors POV:

"We can quickly rush in, again I'm sorry that you had to wear my clothes. Hopefully you won't trip over" I chuckled.

It would be funny though...

"WATCH OUT" A man shouted it sounded like he was above me. I looked up and slammed my foot down on the breaks.

A tree log fell right in front of the car making y/n jump. I held her chest when the car suddenly jolted forward, making sure she wasn't hurt.

"You better watch out later" I mumbled under my breath angrily.

"Alastor don't kill him, he's only doing his job" She touched my shoulder and looked into my eyes worried.

I glanced at her and my expression relaxed.

"Maybe I won't, maybe I will. You will never know chère." I swerved around the tree.

"Hmm" She rolled her eyes at me and stared out the window.

"I can't change who I am chère, I don't want to. You need to understand that. I will do my very best to hide it from you but don't get in the way"

"What do you even do with them?" She asked.

"Don't ask questions you don't wanna know." I replied sternly and continued to drive with my eyes only looking forwards. I didn't want to see her annoyed expression.
