You heard Alastors voice faintly screaming your name, The smoke was expanding everywhere and the fumes started to spread into your dry throat making you continuously cough.
"Alastor?" You yelled, searching around the directions of his calls.
"Y/n..." Alastors voice was frail and it sounded cracked.
You ran towards him and saw his body unconscious laying on the floor, his leg was snapped and your face tightened at the sight. He was hurt...badly.
Shit shit shit...
"You promised me you would be okay!" You shakily whispered through tears.
Please be okay.
You began to drag his body away from the flames and into the nearby woods to avoid being seen.
Damn how is Alastors limp body this surprisingly difficult to move.
~time skip~
The sunrise was gleaming through the trees and you lifted his back onto a stump.
You pressed your hand softly on his chest, checking his breathing and heartbeat. He was still Alive but he was loosing a lot of blood from his wounds.
"A-Alastor wake up, I don't know what to do please" You tapped the side of his face harshly.
Alastor groaned and slowly opened his eyes, his smile returned but it was very frail.
"My leg..." He winced in severe pain and he looked down at his disfigured leg. "...you need to help"
"Yes please tell me what I need to do" You said panicking.
"Rip your top and make a tourniquet, twist it as much as you can, it will reduce the blood flow." His voice sounded fragile and dry.
"Okay." You immediately ripped along the bottom of your top using your teeth to pull it. You tied it taut around his thigh and began to tighten it. Alastor bit down on his arm to muffle his cries. The blood eventually stopped flowing out and you looked up at Alastor waiting for him to tell you the next instructions. His smile was strained and he was struggling to breath.
"You need to align my bone and push it back in, no matter how much I shout or cry. Do NOT stop. Find a straight stick and wrap it around the side of it." He demanded and closed his eyes, trying to block his tears.
"Okay ready?" You asked and Alastor nodded. You pushed down hard on his bone to move it back into place.

His suppressed screams were heartbreaking as you tended to his broken leg.
"I need to go find something straight, I'll be right back don't go anywhere."
"...y/n I don't think I physically can" He chuckled and grinned up at you.
"Oh sorry" You left and rushed around the surrounding area. Your eyes spotted a perfect stick to use and you grabbed it. A loud noise entered your ears suddenly, you could hear distant sirens coming from where the asylum was.
We need to move.
You broke the stick in half with your knee and rushed back over to alastor. His head was tilted back and he was holding his head laughing.
"Why are you laughing?" You asked and he gazed up at you with tears streaming down his face through his hurt slight smile .
"It's funny"
"You have a weird sense of humor... anyways I have something to keep your leg set right." You kneeled next to him.
You placed the stick on the side of his lower leg and tied it around the wound keeping it from getting bent again.
"Okay, we need to go. Have any ideas?" You asked and cupped his face, wiping his tears.
"I can hear distant sounds of water coming from over there, help me up." Alastor pointed East and you took his hand and lifted his arm round your shoulders. Your steps were heavy and his head leaned on top of you.
"Alastor I can't carry you, you need to help me out a bit." You panted.
He shifted more of his weight onto his other leg and you both continued to haltingly walk forward.
~time skip~
The sound of rushing water was becoming louder and the sirens were fading away. You sighed in relief as you saw the river in the distance. Alastors head hung low and his breathing was shallow.
"Alastor we are nearly there just a bit longer, we can wash out the debris that's stuck in your leg"
He hummed quietly in agreement.
"It's okay, you're going to be okay...I promise."

No lie, I have spent my entire day writing down notes and making a few upcoming chapters. I'm so excited for all the twists and turns hehehe
...plus there is gonna be a lot more angst, spice and smut.
