Y/N POV:

You opened your eyes and held your head.

Where am I ?

You looked around the room you awoke in. You were laid on an oak four poster king-sized bed there was dresser with a large mirror on it next to you. The window has long, semi-transparent white curtains either side.

You got out of the bed and approached the window. Looking out you saw that you were in the middle of a swampy Forrest. Slithers of dim light from the moon shone through the hanging branches of the trees, which slowly swayed and the wind echoed through the room.

You felt tears stream down your face as you remembered the events that happened.

You went over to the bedroom door, you tried to open it.

It was locked.

You started to softly cry as you leaned and slid down against the door.

~time skip~

It's been a few hours since you have woken up. You were so hungry, your throat was dry and sore from the dehydration.

You felt dizzy again.

You heard a faint noise of a door open and slam downstairs.

You pressed your ear against the door and heard footsteps approaching you. Panicked, you stood up quickly.

Your vision started to blur and you fell onto the floor, making a loud bang.

The door creaked open and there stood Alastor.

"My dear are you okay?" He asked as he put the keys in his pocket and reached his hand out to you.

You looked at his hand and then back up at him with a bewildered look.

"What do you mean? Of course I'm not okay?!" You responded with an angered tone. You got up and sat on the edge of the bed, still feeling lightheaded.

"GO AWAY." You shouted at him.

"Do NOT shout at me y/n, you should be thanking me." He sternly replied with a grin.

"WHAT?! THANKING YOU FOR WHAT?" You shouted again.

"What did I just say y/n." He furrowed his brows but still had a slight smile.

He made you feel uneasy and scared, seeing him murder that man was traumatizing.

You put your head down resting it on your hands. A sigh escaped your mouth.

"Three days." He bluntly said.

"What?" You looked up at him confused.

"You have been asleep for three days, you need food and water. That's why you feel unwell. Follow me." He insisted.

You walked behind Alastor, fidgeting your fingers.
The hallway was long and there were double candle sconces placed all the way down the wall, some of the wax dripped down and the flames flickered.

Who would light all these? This house is huge.

"Do you live alone?" You inquired.

"Yes." He replied and you started walking down the wide stairs.

"Your house is big." You said, looking around. The ceilings were high and everything looked so fancy.

"Indeed it is." Alastor smugly said. He opened the kitchen door and you entered.

The kitchen was big and had a dark checkered floor, tiles covered the bottom half of the wall and everything looked clean, shiny and new but it had an eerie atmosphere.

You sat down at the kitchen table and he placed down a plate with two ham sandwiches and a glass of water.

"I apologize for the lack of food. The shops have closed and I didn't expect you to wake up so late." He said sitting down in front of you tapping his fingers lightly on the counter.

"Why didn't you stay with Mimzy y/n." He asked with a threatening tone.

"I lost her and I didn't know what to do so I went to find...you." You said between bites of the sandwich.

"What did you see?" Alastor wanted to know.

"I saw you hunched over the man, at first I thought you were in trouble but then I saw a dagger in your hand and watched you cut into his face and then... I don't want to say the rest." You stuttered and placed down the empty cup.

"Are you going to hurt me?" You asked and looked into his eyes worryingly.

"Right now, no. I spared your life since I've grown attached to your wonderful company. You are welcome by the way." He smiled and stood up.

"It's late dear and we should both get some rest, come along." He demanded and took you back to the spare bedroom.

Alastor opened the door, as you stepped in he closed it behind you.

He locked the door and you heard his footsteps get quieter as he walked away.

You were alone.

You needed to escape and tell the police about who was really behind these murders and put a stop to it.

You opened the window and the white curtains started to shake in the wind.

As you looked down it didn't seem like a high drop plus there were bushes below.

I might as well try. I'm either going to die a gruesome death by a serial killer or die from a fall

As you crawled out the window you took a deep breath and jumped.

Thud.
