As I entered the library Evelyn's body lay limp on the floor. I lifted up the chest and held the book and this time it went frigid, my fingertips freezing as I turned the pages.
A gloomy atmosphere filled the room and my body felt like it was being crushed as I uttered the words carved into the book.

Multiple red eyes cracked through the walls, every single one staring at me. The sight was horrific and my breathing trembled but I continued to speak...

I gripped my chest right as I fell to the floor, it was like I was being drained.
Evelyn's body floated a few inches off the ground and a strong breeze blew me back. Evelyn's face twitched and her neck snapped, her skin turning white and eyes filled with pools of blood and green-tinted tears. Her face shape and figure completely changed, she wasn't Evelyn anymore...
"Salve Alastor." The figure spoke, looking directly at me, sitting upright.
"Who are you?" I asked through stutters.
"Roo."
