Everyone rises and portal master and Eon spend some time catching up
"how have you been, what did i miss while i away for 2 months, etc."
Eon then notices that the portal master and Skylanders brought some company with them.
Eon: I see that you have friends with you.
As Max and Eon walk over, the kids and pups look anxious.
Max: guys, this is master Eon. He trained me and taught me everything I know.
Eon, this is Ryder and his pups: Marshall, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, Zuma, and Skye, their friend, Katie and her pet cat, Cali.
They nervously say hi.
Portal master: "annoyed sigh", guys come on, i understand perfectly that things are happening very fast, this is a lot to take in and that you're scared, but you'll get through this ,OK?
Ryder: But, where are we going to stay?
Portal master: don't worry, you guys are more than welcome to stay here for now.
Ryder: thanks.
The pups all try to jump on portal master in excitement and appreciation, but he dodges at the last second.
The pups all smack into the wall face first, everyone else laughs at them.
Max looks back at Eon.
Max: Master Eon, we need to talk.
Time skip: 2 mins
They have the whole gang (Buzz, Flynn, Cali (not cat), Mags and the others) with them.
Portal master: ok, there is good news and bad news.
Good news: we finally found Kaos.
Bad news: he's in our world. We fought hard but "sigh" we have to fall back.
Eon: This is grim news indeed.
Flynn: No wonder it's been so quiet.
Hugo: if we let this go unchecked, there's no telling what will happen.
The portal master and Skylanders walk off, Ryder and others try to follow, but Spyro sees them limping again.
Spyro: kids, you sure that you're good?
Rocky: We're just fine.
The Skylanders then notice their friends are bleeding.
Sonic boom: you're not fine, you're bleeding.
Portal master: Sonic boom's right, you guys must have been hit back in adventure bay.
Whirlwind: alright, we're getting you guys to the infirmary and medical center (or medical wing).
Zuma: you guys have a medical center and infirmary?
Sprocket: of course we do, now come on.
Time skip: 5 mins
Ryder and the pups soon found themselves on healthcare beds in the Skylander infirmary, and the portal master, Katie (looking nervous), Cali (cat) and sonic boom were with them.
Portal master: well, you guys will be fine, but you'll be out of action for a while.
Ryder: (unhappy) ok.
They were about leave...
Portal master: how about we put you guys in the command room, that way you get a front-row seat of the action.
That idea did make them feel better. They rolled them past a gaming room (tv screen, beanbags, video game consoles, pc, posters, LED lights) and into a large room (large tv screen, beanbags, side doors).
Ryder (sees a large banner with words): what's the banner for?
Portal master: that is our oath, pledge. Whatever you prefer to call it.
Portal master and all Skylanders: "as a member of the Skylanders, it is with great honor and sense of duty, that I vow to protect Skylands, and all worlds under threat of evil".
Max turns to the Skylanders.
max: alright. stealth elf, camo, stump smash, drobot, ninjini, spy rise, stink bomb, trap shadow, boom bloom, starcast and tidepool. You guys head back and see what Kaos is up to.
Skylanders: yes portal master(They leave).
max: everyone, dismissed.
time skip: 30 secs
A vibrating and beeping sound goes off.
Ryder and pups (at once): what is that?
Portal master: "sigh" of all the times to get a call.
The Portal master stands up and holds up his arm and the kids and pups now see that the portal master has a blue watch on his left wrist.
Rocky: what is that?
He pushes a button on it, the vibrating and beeping stops.
Portal master: my sky-watch, made it myself, although Sprocket have some ideas.
He talks into it
Portal master: yes? hi Rizzo, yeah, ok. Don't worry, Rizzo. We're on it. No mission's too big, no Skylander's too small.
He hangs up.
Portal master (into watch): Skylanders, to the academy.
In the distance, the kids and pups all hear "the portal master needs us".
then the sound of lots of footsteps coming.
The Skylanders bust through the door.
Hot dog trips, rolls across the floor and bumps into lighting rod then the others, and they all land in a pile.
Hot dog: strike (looks at others, smiling), (sadly) aww the pins didn't reset.
Everyone else laughs.
Portal master (also laughing, looks at Ryder and the others): this always happens.
In a bright flash of light, the Skylanders are instantly standing at attention and walk forward
Spyro: Skylanders, reporting for duty, portal master sir.
The kids and pups stare with their mouths hanging open.
