2 days after the undead attack...
The others have recovered.
In the academy, Rocky was looking out a window.
Until something caught his eye.
He turns to the portal master, who's with Ryder, Fire kraken and Flare wolf.
Rocky: I'm no expect, but aren't fireworks supposed to go off in the sky?
Ryder, the portal master and the Skylanders look confused.
Portal master: rocky, what fireworks? Fire kraken and flare wolf are right here.
Rocky: But if they're here...
He looks back out the window.
Many fireworks-like objects flying outside on a nearby island are going crazy.
...then who launching fireworks out there?
The others approach the window.
Portal master: wait a sec.
Flare wolf: what's wrong?
The portal master reaches into his pocket.
He pulls out a telescope.
He puts it to his eye.
Portal master: those aren't fireworks...
One heads for the window.
...they're missiles! Move!!
They move aside.
It bursts through the glass.
"Boom"
Ryder: Are we good?
Skylanders and portal master: good
Ryder: Rocky, you good?
Nothing.
"Rocky?"
Rocky: over here.
He is still in front of the window.
Ryder: Rocky, get over here.
Rocky: I can't.
Portal master: why?
The pup raises his hind-left paw.
A pink substance was under it.
Rocky: I stepped on some gum, I'm stuck.
The portal master turns to Ryder.
He doesn't move.
Sighing, he walks over to the pup.
Grabbing his collar, he pulls.
Portal master: "straining".
Rocky: ok, ow, ow. that hurts.
Fire kraken: incoming!
A 2rd rocket is heading toward them.
The portal master pulls Rocky out of the gum, just before the rocket hits.
He drags him to Ryder.
Portal master: I think this is your.
He drops the pup in front of the boy.
Ryder: Rocky! Don't scare me like that.
He gives the recycling pup a big hug.
Portal master: I want to talk about that Ryder should have did that,
But right now we need to see where these missiles came from.
