Two days later
The pups are stuck in the med wing.
Ever though they were bitten by a diamondback, the portal master show mercy as he chose not to inject enough to be a lethal amount,
But more than enough to be a lesson that they will not forget.
(in real life, it only takes one encounter with a diamondback to learn "not mess with a rattler").
And most importantly: he did apologize.
And the pups and their owner accepted it.
Later that day
The pups have fully recovered.
Katie: "sigh of relief" well, thanks sprocket.
Sprocket: no need.
The tech Skylander turns and leaves.
Chase: Well, that's not something that happens everyday.
Rubble: I was so scared.
Zuma: you and me both, wubble.
Skye: I'm just glad we're still here.
Then Hotdog and Funnybone walk in.
Hotdog: Well, you kids are good to go.
Funnybone: Ryder just outside.
Pups: yay.
They hop off their med beds.
The portal master kneels down to the Skylanders.
Portal master: you're such good pups.
The other pups ran over to Ryder, who was leaning on the wall.
Ryder: PUPS!!
They tackle the boy to the ground and give him a big hug.
Katie, Jake, Carlos, Row, Taylor, the other pups, Scratch and Flashwing watch the reunion.
All: aww.
The pup get off Ryder.
The others approach them.
But then Jake stops.
Jake: Umm guys, where is Everest?
max (to himself): umm, oh boy.
Katie: Yeah, where is she?
Portal master: I'll go get her.
He runs off.
3 mins later
Ryder: where are they?
Then...
max (out of breath): we're back.
He pushes in Everest.
The others stare.
The husky is still iced.
Jake: really?
Portal master: First, this is not what I meant to do. In fact, I didn't think it would really work.
Marshall: She's still in ice.
Portal master: relax, she's not stuck like this. She'll thaw out.
Later that evening
Ryder and the pups are walking around when...
"Thump"
Rocky: What was that?
The head towards the noise.
